hello everyone,
I am new to this pleo forum. :)
About a week ago I bought a second hand pleo.
He has one problem. he came with the wrong adapter (us version instead of eu version)
So i have bought the right adapter from the pleoworld site.
I did however get about an hours play with my pleo before the battery ran out,
I love playing with Pleo
but now I'll have to wait for the adapter first.
So a bit about me.....
I am Linda, from the netherlands.
And I am a History teacher.
If you have any questions, I am happy to answer.

Welcome Elasia and glad you found us. Sorry to hear about the adapter but that you have got the correct one! Have you thought of a name for your Pleo yet? Dont forget to send us Photo of your Pleo when you can. We love to see phots of our Member's Pleos and their adventures. This is a great place for finding out everything about pleo. What made you decide to get a Pleo? Are you going to use it in your History class to help teach some " ancient " history? ;)

Welcome Linda, nice to meet you :) Which area of history do you teach? I hope your new charger gets there soon, be sure to post some pictures of your Pleo when it does :)

Hello Linda, and welcome! :)
How very frustrating to have had a brief 'play' with Pleo and then have to wait, I hope your adapter arrives quickky!

HELLO, AND WELCOME TO THE BEST PLEO FORUM IN THE WORLD, ELAISA!!! ;D (perhaps I overreacted ;))
I hope that your adapter comes soon so you can play a lot more with your Pleo!

thanks for the nice welcome everyone :)
I decided I wanted a pleo of my own when I saw him in a store, standing all sad in the demo box.
At first I just thought "oh how cute" I asked how much he was in stores 285 euro's, which was just a bit over my budget.
But then I found a complete second hand Pleo offered on a auction site for a considerably nicer price........ I just couldn't let him slip past me. :P
My little pleo does not have a name yet, I guess I have to play a little more with him before I can think of one.
Indeed I hope the right adapter gets here soon, I was so sad when my pleo turned off and did not wake up
(he did do a schort snore when i tried switching him on again, but then nothing)
As for the teaching, RedwoodsMama and InmemoryofRomeo. I teach general (I guess it would be high school) history, lessons range from prehistoric times to most recent events like 9-11 and the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. I don't think pleo would make a good teaching assistant..........The kids (And I) would be distracted all hour long by the cuteness ;)
