I have just seen my gorgeous little pleo come to life!! He is called Satu which means Fairytale in japanese, and i already am in lovee with him!! hes such a little baby , andd i have made his own little bed for him!! He is just so perfect!! Such a happy happy girl =D xxxxxx

what i am to say has been said to me a couple of months ago:
You have been bitten by the "We all love pleo" bug
don't worry, it is not dangerous or fatal. only thing is you will turn into someone who carries around a baby dinosaur, worries about how long the battery will last, how fast it recharges,
You will enjoy everything Satu does and how he reacts to his environment, you will meet people who think he's an expensive waste of money and those people narrow mindedly think you are insane. Others will look in envy because you have the best companion AI lifeform currently available
If Satu is an Ugobe Pleo you will spend money on clothes to protect his back, I know I just have.
In this forum you will meet and talk with people who are also bitten by this bug.
they will tell you that against everything other people tell you we are normal en well thinking humans.
in case you started wondering by now if i am normal, heck no my name is Napoleon, i am here to rule the world.
oh and enjoy every second i can with my pleo george, as i am sure you will with Satu.
Welcome to the forum and please keep us updated on Satu with pics and such. I just started taking photo's of George and the pleo is a natural photo model.....

Welcome Sian and Satu, Love both your names by the way! ;) like Meks stated very well, you will soon find that Satu becomes such a huge part of your life that after awhile you will wonder how you ever could have existed without him! The Pleo bug bites first with a nibble, ( interest in Pleo) then a little bigger such as the fish on a line dangling in the water, and you slowly reel him /her in. After what seems an eternity ( waiting for Pleo to arrive) you land the fish ( Pleo is here , you have him at long last!) then you find you can't catch and release, you have to Have this extraordinary creature, This is the most amazing (" toy, robot" interactive life form, pet" whatever you choose to call him", ) animal you have ever seen. All the internet videos, commercials, and even posts from other Pleo owners can't come close to the feelings you begin to create when you hold Pleo for the first time, the first sounds he makes, the first time he falls asleep in your arms, You have been bitten, and it is " fatal" there is no turning back now, You will guard this baby, Satu, with all your beingness. Satu is yours and you are his, and the bond you will share is like no other you have ever had before. Your life with Satu has already started, and you will be recording your experiences here with him and posting photos just like the " Brag Books' boasting parents and grandparents are allways ready to share with anyone in their path.
