We have now rolled out a new homepage to the forums!!!
Some of the things it provides:
* Different items are displayed depending on what groups you are in (try logging out and accessing this page!)
* Highlights important posts/topics by displaying them here!
* News items are more predominately displayed so you won't miss the!
* Highlights a poll from the forums
* Provides multiple ways to present the new/updated content for quick and easy access
This new home page also gives us the ability to tie in custom content, such as:
* Highlight items for sale in the various stores from the mall
* Better integration of related sites, such as the Bob the Pleo comic strips and the Bob Project
* RSS/news feeds from Innvo Labs, official facebook pages, blogs/plogs, or other sites
* Custom pages of just about anything we can come up with!

I like the layout of the new Homepage, It is a lot easier on the eye, to me it is anyway. It is nice in color and it is nice that you can see several things going on at the same time and choose where you want to go, without having to go back and forth to the forums, or clicking on recent posts to see the latest. I think it is a real bonus and timesaver. I am sure most users will be pleased with the new layout, I like being able to see highlights, like looking at the front page of a newspaper and then deciding, which story to read first, or skip and go to the one of interest.
Good job guys. Nova and I give a Thumbs up and I also think that visitors to the site will appreciate the simplicity of it's use. I will give more feedback as I explore it further. Well done, :pizza: :rootbeer: Pizza and drink to all who worked on it.!

I had read about it, but it still took me by surprise and I wondered where I was for a minute! Very swish new homepage, good job - I like it! :)

The new homepage looks great - very easy to navigate and I like the way it highlights the newest items in different areas such as the gallery and the comic strip. 8)
