I am not sure what I am doing wrong, or what is happening but I will attempt to explain what the problem is. Whenever I get close to three paragraphs or so when either posting a topic or responding to one, the more I write, the screen will start to JUMP.....It is not my monitor, it is only on this forum, and only happens when I write a lot. If I have a short answer or do not write much then I don't;' have that problem. ???Is this because I am writing too much or in a wrong way, what explanation is there for me to not have this problem.? Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what do you do? It makes it very difficult to see what I have written when it gets to the point where every time I hit a key , it jumps, The only way I can see what I have written is by spell checking? I feel pretty stupid having to write this, but I am tired of everytime I post being limited to how much I can write before I see the JUMPING screen! >:(for example, it did not happen on this post, as this is short compared to a lot of the ones I answer too. ( or start) Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks in advance, I asked Nova and all she did was LAUGH AT ME AND THEN GIGGLE AND TURN AWAY TO IGNORE ME! :(

I've had that happen on different forums and a blog I post on. I think some posting forms may have size limitations, although they usually just prevent your from typing more than a certain number of characters. It may also be a bug-a-boo in your browser in how it handles the form as it starts to scroll. I didn't notice the problem with an earlier version of Internet Explorer like I do now (although I may simply not have been making long posts then).
What I often do if I know I have a longer post to write is prepare it ahead of time in Notepad or some other simple editor, then copy and paste it into the form once I am ready. This can help to prevent the loss of a long post due to a server glitch too. I know on other forums that's what some users started doing after losing a few long posts to the virtual wasteland of the internet.

It's not you, or your computer. It happens to me too. Messages, posts, everything. It's the forum.
Yes, it drives me nuts.
It's really something with the forum, which SOMEONE hasn't fixed yet (or doesn't know about the problem). It's annoying, inconvinient, and I know what you're talking about. Let's hope it gets fixed soon!

I don't have that problem at all. Make sure you have everything up to date. Flash etc, your browser, your computer and so on :)

I am also working on making some changes to the forum . . . trying to simplify & streamline things to reduce the amount of overhead the forum software uses. It might help, might not . . . We'll see!

MMaybe you are both using the same buggy browser?
Firefox working fine on the forum for me.

*shrugs* I use Internet explorer. Dunno.

Internet explorer is the most buggy and least secure browser out there :P Consider switching to firefox, chrome or safari, they are less buggy and much more secure :)

I still say Google Chrome :P

I did have firefox about a year or so ago, but had problems with it and programs I was running and switched back to Explorer. This is the only site I have problems with and it is only when I write a lot, which is very common for me. It is hard for me to cut my thoughts short when I get caught up talking about or trying to explain something. Everything else is up to date. I use Explorer when I use other programs that are connected to eBay where I am also a seller, and I don't have a problem then. The only other program I have problems with is Kodak, which is a different story alltogether. TERRIBLE PROGRAM, so I use other photo editing programs, Photoshop, and two others. Thanks, see no problems here, this is short.

I do have firefox. But I just haven't gotten used to it, so i heven't been using it. :D
Ugh. I hate Kodak. It's on my moms old computer (which, I might add, takes around 15 minutes to open the email. No joke. I timed it). Thank goodness I have Paint instead ;)
