The poo-chis aren't the only dogs that roam the house, I have more. The other robot dogs that are here are: 2 teknos, a robopet, and wrex! (and hoping for the arival of AIBO)
-
Hiya, I've got an i-cybie, and I'm tempted to get a Wrex - is he fun? That's a fair old kennels you've got there!
-
I have the small wrex.
-
Been trying for 4 years to get an i-cybie lol

Hi Pleoluv, I am unfamiliar with most of the " dawgs", as you call them, except for the Aibo's. I have seen several Videos of them lovely little things. Why don't you post a few photos or a video of your canine friends for all of us to see? It would fit in nicely with this topic since you started it, then we could understand your love for them more, and people like me who dont' know much about them, will have more questions, etc to ask you that you could tell us about them. I personally would love to see them all, and this is the proper place to put them. 8) If you dont know how to upload the photos I know degers and just about anyone else can help you do that. If I can do it,( and believe me it took a couple of months to finallly get it, )then I know you won't have any problems.

Good idea Redwoodsmama - this does seem the best place. :)
Keep trying OzPleo, they're great little dawgs. I'm excitedly awaiting my second i-Cybie's arrival at the moment! ;D
Actually, there's a guy on Ebay (US) with a few to get rid of at the moment........ 8)
-
I been bidding on one here in Australia, but now the bid has blown out to $150 :o That's probably a little too steep for an i-cybie (I mean let's face it it's no Pleo).
The US guy has an extraordinary postage rate to Australia.
-
Ouch!! At that rate it would have taken me at least four years too!! :o
I really hope you find one in Oz - it's such a pain when sellers sting you on overseas postage! >:(
-
Woah, I got over aibos like 2 months ago... But now I love big mouth billy bass!!! I've been collecting them ever since I stopped liking aibo.
Hey, I posted this already, but it must have not procesed right...
-
Can't see me getting over Aibos until I actually get one, and even then...........
Sorry Pleoluv, but I can't see me getting into Billy Bass either - from your piccy it looks more like dinner than entertainment, but that's maybe just me! :P ;D
-
Lol Crewella. I think I know what a Billy Bass is, you ever watch WallE? There's one in there that startles Eve and she almost shoots it. WallE didn't let her, of course...;)
-
Aha - goddit! Thanks Bumble. I loved WallE! :)
-
WallE was a great movie. One of my favs. :D
I can tell. XD It almost seems a little bit corny, but cute too. ;) What all do they do besides sing?
-
I was all like "*points at screen* BILLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Lol! Billy dances, and sings. Also moves his mouth in synch to the words.
-
I finally was able to get myself an i-cybie ;D
I've been trying for the past 4 years to buy one, but whenever I ask about postage from international sellers the price is either extremely high or they won't post international. But the other day a person in Australia (another State) was selling one and I bought it. He hasn't arrived yet but when he does I'll let you know.
He doesn't have a walk up charger unfortunately just the regular one.
-
Ripper!! (I believe that is the expression!) :P :D ;D
I was considering asking if you wanted me to get you one in the UK and send it on, I'm chuffed to bits you finally got it! They're definitely not an Aibo, but I like them and I think they're beautifully designed. I've now got an original one without a walk-up charger and one of the later 'Outrageous' i-Cybies that came with it. Be interested to know what you think when it arrives. :)
I meant to mention the fact the the 'smart' chargers and the batteries you can still get are well worth having, as many of the older i-Cybies got their batteries fried because there was an error in the instructions that told owners to first charge the batteries for 10 hours. There is no cut-off on the original chargers, you have to watch/time them.
