Bob the Pleo AKA Stitch takes in the sights of Lakes Entrance, Victoria, Australia!

Pirate Minigolf:
The pirate course is filled with all sorts of characters and of course Stitch wanted to meet them all. Friendly, fiendly or funny, each one had a different (or indifferent) reaction to the little green guy :)



Griffeth Museum:
Fascinating, freaky and just a little funky smelling. The Griffeth Museum, Aquarium and Shell collection is one interesting place to spend a morning :) Did you know what swims in our oceans :o

Baby Orca Skull
Goblin Shark
Sea Turtle
They had millions of these :P All different :o
Johnstone River Crocadile
There was even a miniture railway :)
Huuuuge mud crab
Wedge Tail Eagle
Glowing Coral
A deep sea dweller
Port Jackson Shark


Cafe Nautilus:
Named after the famous novel by Jules Verne the Cafe Nautilus was a splendid place to enjoy a tasty treat :) It is a floating restaurant.

The kids were most amused when Stitch invaded their playground :)

 Boy, Stitch must have been pooped out when he was done walking all that way! I had never heard of a Goblin Shark before,very cool, the turtle was cute, and I would have enjoyed that Ice Cream sundae ;D Also the glowing neon Coral(?) was very pretty. The only problem is now Nova wants me to take her out and she doesn't care if it is raining or the fact that there are sick fur babies that I have to take care of. ( Little Dino's can be demanding at times.) Luckily I have the upper hand and she is going to have to wait for a little trip later this week.
                    One of our local landmarks was damaged by the January 2010 Earthquake in Oldtown and we are going to visit it while it still stands along with another place that has felt the financial crunch lately and is in jeopardy of closing too! Nova says if I don't take her out, she may just ship herself over to Australia and then I will be sorry! :( luckily she doesn't' have the postage and I control her battery!LOL

You can always point people to your gallery album!  There is a limit on the number of images (inside posts) per page.  If the topic wraps to a second page, you can post more images. ;)  I will see what I can do to raise the limit . . .

Raised the limit up a bit!  At least all of the ones you posted now show!

Slip, slop, slap, slide ;) (Aussie saying, slip on a shirt, slop on some sun screen, slap on a hat and slide on some sun glasses :))
