A member of the italian PW Forum (marcoand) found an interesting thing about re/make original Os and adapt motion and sounds (th description sounds like an DoItYself PDK!). He said that he can changes the sounds from Life Os 1.0.2 with the new sounds of current Os (1.1), but you can keep the original motions of 1.0.2. I dont know how it works technically, but he said that he can changes the files format using myskit and save the sounds files on SD card. You can use Life Os 1.0.2 and using the SD for the sounds :o

Love them junkroxy!  Thanks for sharing!  I believe when using the SD card for the sounds, he is just shadowing the sound files.  Look forward to seeing what he's done.

Do you thinks there is a limit size for the files ? I tryed to place just one file (statup one) and it worked :) Thats cool to choose the sound pleo starts :)

Must be a way to make the pleo speaks... "hello world"

Easy to do!  Just record yourself saying "Hello World" and save it as an 8-bit mono .wav file.  Name the file startup.wav and put it on an Sd card.  Stick the SD card in your pleo and turn it on. 

If you look at the files in the zip file for the pleo warrior personality above, you'll find a bunch of audio files.  You can modify or replace any of these to make your pleo sound unique!

Here's a sample sound file you can use.  When you start your pleo with this file, you'll get a Scooby-Doo laugh!

I made a startup file with Espeak (speech engine), but batterie is on charge now, will try later...
