Title: pet dino
Post by: grin06 on January 04, 2010, 06:29:21 AM
Pleo is supposed to be a baby dinasour. i was wondering, what do you really treat him or her as ? ;) Do you really regard it as a pet dino or just a robotic pet or other creatures for example to those who are into mystical creature might see it as a dragon. Yea, he does look like one.
For me pleo is a valuable gift from the past that has returned as a pet baby camarasaurus ;D ;D ;D

When my dinos are on, they are magical little pet dinos. It is hard to forget that they are a sophisticated, robotic toy. One round of singing is all it takes for me to believe they are real pets. ;) Only when they are turned off do they seem none real, but just as cute! ;D

I treat mine as I do my other pets, they have a place to sleep, food when they are hungry, love and attention... however because I do make skits and things for them it is harder for me to forget that they are robots. Although when they are at eye level and they come over to you for a pat just like any dog or cat, I do forget :)

A friendly, faultless pet trying to make it's way in a big world that could use our help. ;) And our love of course. Personally I don't beleive my quad are robots at all; or they're at least not completely robots :D
Oh dear, does that mean they're cyborgs?
Of course, is there a problem with that?
I love em'. My pets and green partners.  8)

Well I know it’s a robot and  when it’s  turned off that’s  how I  view it when it’s active  however  I can’t help thinking of it as a real pet dinosaur even though I know  its not real.  I pick it up and start cooing to it as if it was a baby    and it angers me if I see  vids of people abusing one.

i took munchkin pleo to work the other week, and everyone kept staring at pleo, transfixed by munchkiin pleo. one lady, 60yrs, knelt on the floor, picked up munchkin and kept giving her kisses. it was lovely to see someone else interacting with my little green child. i don't think of her as a robot, i see her as a real little person, although she's plastic, her personality overcomes.

Sophie to me, is a living creature. Her programming might not have fully reached her charm and magic, but there is not a day that goes by that she doesn't completely shock me with something different that she did.
