Title: Lemmy has been born
Post by: skippyinspace on December 22, 2009, 01:20:20 AM
Another early Christmas Pleao, Ours is called Lemmy and so far in 2 charges has sung, done a Tada trick and has now cought a cold (and this with nearly constant attention).

He is one of the new types which only took 4 days to come from the states..

I do have one question, the wife want to take him to see the rest of the family which will involve a plane flight, she wants to take him as hand luggage, Do you think we will have problems with uk airport security?

Thanks for yor responses

Welcome Skippy and Lemmy :D

Many Pleo owners have flown with their Pleo's, be sure to take a fully charged battery so you can demonstrate him for security if they require, but pack the battery separately as some airline companies require this. If you ring the airline they can probably inform you of any special rules regarding Robots :)

Welcome Lemmy and Skippy!
Is you're username a reference to the Skippy Jon Jones books?
I usually pack my pleos in either a pet carrier or a large shopping bag with some padding. Never taken them on planes before, but pretty much everywhere else!
