Hi All,
i've just bought online my first pleo Rb!!
just can't tell the other half how much i've splashed out! (whoops) just hope the little guys are as good as they look!
Ooh i feel like a kid waiting for a Christmas. ;D
just thought i'd say hi  and if you have any info or tips i'd be happy to hear any.
i'm so excited

Hello and welcome to the forum! Yes. *Smile* The waiting is the hardest part isn't it? The one tip that's floating to the top of my brain right now is to just be patient and enjoy the experience of watching your little dino grow up. A lot of people get frustrated after the first two battery cycles because their pleo isn't walking or learning their names. The pleo is a robotic life form. It comes to you as a hatchling and like any other baby, it's not going to be very exciting at first. It's not going to reveal all of its secrets quickly, it takes time for the pleo to grow and show its personality to its caretaker.

Hi :) Welcome to the forums :) My only tip would be to read the Pleo RB FAQs so you are prepared. (It'll help that waiting too :P)

Welcome tot he forums :) which colour pleo rb did you go for? everyone will be very excited to see photos of your new baby when it arrives :) we all love new arrivals here.
-
Thank guys for the quick replys and the tip talon, I'll take it slow and enjoy the baby years, coz sadly like all things I'm sure they grow up too fast, I'm thinking of bringing him to work with me as I spend alot of time on the road, so he'd keep me company :)
I'm getting a green one, i've been looking at clothes, i love the ones with collars but would that damage the neck?
-
Enjoy the new Pleo. Mine's eating more and cooing more and crying out more, and in general is growing. I think he bowed today.
-
If you can show us a pic of the clothing you like we can give a better idea of if it will be ok for a pleo :) Many of our pleos do wear collars, as long as they are not too tight and don't have any rough or spiky bits that might rub or scratch the skin you should be ok.

Hi and welcome to the forum :D and like they say your baby pleo will grow up very fast so enjoy the experience. With my first RB I was indeed very exited what they could do so I ruched true it , with my second RB Lucky I was a lot more patient and it was fun! Just like Kat said it is going to behave like a baby so it doesn't do much. You need to pet her and talk to her so it Will develop a courage and a happy character.
The first thing which is very difficult is you must charge the battery for 3 hours... for my it was the longest hours of my life ;) Kat has beautiful clothes and her prices include the shipping costs ! I have a few of her outfits and they are great, also for protecting the skin.
Can't wait to see some photo's of your pleo and enjoy!

i think it will be hard to wait after getting him, i'm checking my emails like mad to see if i have a dispatch note but Pleos not even on his way yet, (fingers crossed they work on a Saturday and get him sent out today)
thinking about using a cat or puppy collar, something similar to this,

That should be fine, just make sure you can fit a finger or two under it, that's all.
-
Cat or kitten collars are best. You may find you need to cut it down to size but should wait to do that till your pleo is there so you can get it right. :)
