Grumpy and Oscar the grouch from Sesame Street should get together and have a party as they share so much in common. One is blue and one is green, but I think Grumpy is so much cuter....I still think they should throw him a surprise party, even though he secretly knows about it. He is way smarter then the average Pleo after all.LOL

This is going to be hard to build in Minecraft...
-
Nah. All pretty simple. Most of it's already been done!
There has always been a natural small lake underneath the mountain Bob's castle is built on. Well, technically, there was a lake that I stuck the mountain on top of . . . Now, The lake on the northwest side of town is deeper than natural oceans (almost to bedrock), so it wasn't hard to connect the two with a water filled cave tunnel. I then connected the tunnel to the ocean on the north side of Pleopia and to the "underground sea" (yes, there's an ocean sized body of water just above bedrock that spans underneath about half of Pleopia and under the surrounding regular ocean). That way, our sea serpent has free access in and out of the lake. The only problem is Minecraft currently doesn't have anything to use as a sea serpent.
There's already some remains of castle on the shore of the lake and at the bottom of the lake I built a couple of years ago, so that was easy to turn into Castle Urquhart.
Current Minecraft water physics don't allow for a spiraling "whirlpool" but there is now a hole in the lake that does drop straight down all the way through the bedrock. Squid that spawn in the lake will swim by it and fall in. :)
It's pretty easy to change the skin texture to turn an enderman into a bigfoot, other than the fact that endermen don't have feet . . .
There already was a natural winding cave near the dungeon of Bob's castle. So all I had to do was make a short connecting tunnel, do a little bit of expanding, then fill the vertical shaft at the end of the cave about half full of lava, and we now have the remains of Mt. Doom.
Kringle's Toy Shoppe has always been right next to Fred's Pizzaria in downtown Weedovia, and there's always been a mysterious large "workshop" at the back of the store that leads down to eight underground stables. Make of that what you will . . .
And there are plenty of empty store fronts where I could set up a donut shop if I wanted to, but sadly there's no one to run it currently. I don't have anyone to run the coffee shop either. :donut: :coffee:
Now I'll admit aliens with flying UFOs is a bit of a problem, though.
I'll make a note and try post some pictures. :crash:

Here are a few shots from Minecraft. The first one shows a two of the eight mysterious stables underneath Kringle's Toy Shoppe.
And here is a shot of the lake on the north side of town. You can see the whirlpool just off of the side of the bridge and a few of the castle remains on the far shore.

Just as a clarification for those who are new to the forums in the last few years, although Grumpy may seem like a bad guy, the comic strip has had two main villains: Dr. Mel, the evil twin brother of the man who created the Pleo, Caleb Chung. Dr. Mel envisions himself as a "Mad scientist" -- Mad at pleos and wants to get rid of them all, scientist as in a clown in a lab coat. The other natural enemy of the tiny camarasaurus is the carnivorous allosaurus. Both villains have played recurring roles in the ongoing saga that is Bob the Pleo.

That is seriously the most dedicated Minecraft map ever Mike! I’m going to have to download it again and do some more serious poking around. Does it still run ok on the latest version? The myriad of new blocks could be useful.
(I seem to recall there being a skin for the pig zombie to turn it into a Bigfoot.)
