Title: pleo mother board unused port
Post by: eric on July 16, 2009, 04:16:26 PM
Have any of you opened up your PLEO?
Under the torso motor on the board is a port which is unused
Anyone know what this is for or why its not used?

It's for linking into Skynet. ;D

Really, I don't have a clue.

That, and I don't know what the port is for either. :)

Perhaps it was going to be used in a prototype or something similar, but then they decided not to. Or perhaps even the very off chance that this Pleo is missing something in its structure.

It could be a diagnostics port. If you connect it you can run self test and get a readback of the results. Just guessing though.
