Title: Setting into package mode
Post by: katatonick on May 01, 2009, 02:36:41 AM
Hi,

I recently got a Pleo and am finding it difficult to set him into package mode: holding down the Pleo button for 10-30 seconds and then laying him down doesn't seem to work. I upgraded to v. 1.1 before even turning him on.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Thanks in advance.

Yup, my Peo's never co-operate either :P My suggestion is place a finger on the off switch and wait for Pleo to naturally assume that position then switch off quickly or if you are familiar with my skit you can whip up a skit to have Pleo do it :)

That's what I ended up doing last night.

Do you also have a problem using the Pleo button to mute or set the volume level?

Sounds like a good idea for your next skit IMR, have pleo assume the defualt position and not move to 15 or 20 seconds . . .  ;)

That would only take a moment, consider it done :)

I've never had a problem with muting Pleo, remember one press turns volume down, two presses goes to mute and three goes back to normal :)

Dino-MITE comes with a .urf file that puts Pleo into the default position. Its located in a folder called Static.  :)
