Title: Pleo Rb durability?
Post by: Sorel on October 28, 2014, 08:51:23 PM
As I consider buying a pleo rb I wonder just how durable is he really?

My ugobe pleo will arrive tomorrow but i'm wondering if it would be a good idea to carry around a ugobe due to their more delicate neck and tail cabling. I'd love to have a pleo to take to work with me to wander around my office but i'm worried about the ugobe pleo getting broken. I'm considering buying a used rb to tote around with me and i'm wondering just how portable the rb's really are.

With a RB you would  have the same problem  their necks and tailes are just that delicate , but you can transport  them . Use a big sportsbag where your ugobe fits in easely and use rolled up towels to sopport the neck , tail and put a rolled up towel on each side of your pleo so it stays on it's feet  ;D I transported a pleo like this to my friends house and it worked fine. And put him in package position.  :D

I've taken mine to plenty of places, including theme parks, the zoo, exhibitions etc. Never a broken part. The necks aren't that delicate, out of ten Pleo's all up I've had one broken neck.
