Hello,
could you please help me with my dead Pleo: When I switch him on, he doesn´t make any voice, he doesn´t make any motion …. When I insert SD card with Pleo Personalities (*.urf) he replays the program correctly.
When I Connected him through Dino-MITE v1.0.2 I´m able to change him into the storage position and I made this list from terminal monitor:

My first guess would be a corrupted default urf.
I am assuming based on the fact that it runs personalities, that you installed the LifeOS1.1.
The first question would be, did your pleo function before upgrading the OS? And did it quit working immediately after upgrading? If it did, then the upgrade failed. This has happened to a number of people. The suggestion is usually to re-download and re-install the upgrade. Upgrading using the SD card seems to work better for this.
More information around when it quit working and what actions you have done would help diagnose the problem.
And as always, you can try contacting ugobe customer service. They have additional resources to back-out an OS upgrade, and additional diagnostic aides.

I would try updating your pleo to OS1.1 via the sd card method using the instructions provided.

Hallo, i cannot find anywere the LifeOS downgrade. Can you tell me where to download LifeOS 1.0.2 or send me a copy?

I have the original 1.0.2 upgrade from 1.0 at home. i can post it tonight if no one else does. But the question is, is the the 1.0.2 downgrade offered by Ugobe tech support the same as the 1.0.2 upgrade that was originally released? Does anyone have the downgrade from Ugobe?

If you contact ugobe support http://www.pleoworld.com/support/contact/ they have a patch and instructions which should fix your problem.

Ugobe sent me an sd card with 1.0.2. is this what you are looking for? Not sure if this is different from the one that I wasn't able to download in the beginning. :-[

hujahu, I really would recommend contacting ugobe first. They have a patched version of 1.0.2 which is designed especially for fixing your problem.

I have added a topic with the links to download the LifeOS 1.0.2 upgrade.
You can try it, but I don't know if it will work to downgrade or not!

thank you for the file. pleo is back. :)
the win updater recognizes the os1.1 as unknown and installs the os1.0.2 without problems.
the "update" to os1.0.2 is at least 6 times faster than the next to os1.1.

I tried varioous time but the SD mode didnt work :(

The SD mode in Penelopie doesn't work well either. She's unable to do the Xmas skit but can do the Love struck. Peeky and J.C can do them all. Not sure if it's the slot or the SD card. ???

I think the SD option lost some files, or not? uhm...
I saw old videos about pleos, i miss some things about the 1.0, aargh! >:(
