Title: Hi everyone
Post by: bjoreman on March 01, 2009, 02:12:46 AM
I've already made a few posts, so I guess it's about time to introduce myself  :) ... I'm bjoreman, and I live with my pleo Gob in Lund in southernmost Sweden.

I'm a software developer by profession, so I'm one of those people eagerly awaiting any kind of news about the PDK, if it ever shows up. I'd like to have Gob photo-blog about his days or something like that. In the meantime I  love the pleo for what it already is, I'm sure not going to let lack of hackability limit my enjoyment (too much :)).

Hi Bjoreman and Gob, Have you worked with Myskit and Dino-Mite? I would love to see what you can do with these. I sure agree with you. Even without new programming these little guys are adorable just the way they are. :)

I just read another post of yours and you definitely have been working with Myskit.

Yes, I have used both Dino-mite and Myskit, but only quite briefly. I just need to figure out some skit I want Gob to perform. If/when I do I'll be sure to let everyone know and share the result.

Quick tip about Dino-mite: be very sure you have an SD card in your pleo before trying to take photos with the camera! There is very little free space in a pleo's onboard memory, you can't really delete things from it and filling it up seems to be a great way to lock up you pleo so that it needs a complete reset. Just so you know before trying, from someone who's been there :) ...

That's a concern :o Dino-MITE really should have a warning label on it, to let people know.
