Pig Yiddish perhaps? ???
-
Sounds like pig latin to me, except, I don't no pig latin! ;D
-
Yiddish, Middish, Yoguart is in his own world with its own language!
-
ROFL, I loved National Spaghetti Day!!
Is that real??
-
Of course Spaghetti Day is real Gucci ! For us Italians everyday is spaghetti Day ! ;D I hope you are enjoying the nice big snowfall we are getting today. I guess you started getting it last night.
I hope to get pictures of you out in the snow, making snow angels, a nice, friendly snowball fight (don't know if it is good packing to make snowballs yet as I have only stuck my hand out the door to grab the mail, I know I am a wimp!)
 I know this is suppose to be a kiss but I changed it to a hug, you know, like hershey hugs? Mike, what about adding a hug to the group, I would use that symbol all the time since I believe hugs are very important.
-
I love Italian food! And it's quite funny because I was craving (and meal planning) for spaghetti on Monday, and got all the ingredients together. But last night the omni family made chili, and I had all my ingredients together so I just whipped them all up and for the last two days it's been slow-cooking. I bet it's gonna be mighty tasty!
We got quite a bit of snow! But I hear others got it worse. This is the calm before the storm, apparently. About 3"-6" across Indianapolis (AKA Indy, as they call it.) I know we got 4", going out to take a photo and then I'll post it to the gallery.
-
I can't wait to see the photos.
What do you think about the winter wonderland Gucci?
-
It's COLD!! ;D
-
It's COLD!! ;D
Welcome gucci, so glad you could join us "freezing together" group
-
Freezing here too. Got a two hor delay from school! :D
-
Nope, thats pig latin. XD me and an old friend OP8106 (any PW forum members remember her?) Know Pig Latin. It's not hard to learn!

ROFL!!! Yay Bob's back :D

In fact it was so bad that, now, Bob has a huge spread with a river running through it! ;) My dinos would like to come and visit during the winter. They will bring their ice skates and skis. ;D
-
At least I can honestly say that Bob did get his tomato crop mastery!
-
Indeed he did! ;)
-
No kidding! ;D So glad Bob and the gang are back! :)
-
ROFL ROFL ROFL
;D ;D ;D
LOL this is my favorite comic since the allo went vegetarian!
-
Bob, heed my warning, stay away from Farmville. I have heard it is very, very addictive, almost as addictive as pepperoni pizza. ;) :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza:
-
Far more addicting! ;D ;D ;D
-

Bob, six more weeks of winter. After that you will definitely have the best tomatoes.
-
Poor Bob....the over-analyzer....
-
(http://bobthepleo.com/pleo/comics/bob/bob_0343_20100203.jpg)
Bob, you silly dinosaur. According to most of the old movies vampires go Poof! when caught in the sunlight and thus wouldn't see their shadow. And werewolves become such during the full moon at night. Don't know about the eye patch though. Mayhaps if the vampire has an eye patch with a parrot on his shoulder and a hand replaced by a hook and a peg leg, or the werewolf could see the full moon in Australia and jump on Quantas with a pair of very dark sunglasses and fly to SFO in San Francisco (no one would notice anything unusual here,) and look for his shadow. Hey, what about Frankenstein...
-
Well, if the groundhog had the same problem as Peter Pan, his shadow might be hiding in some kid's room... But I'm betting on the giant space alien pirate squids form Mars.
-

Don't worry Bob, we think you are funny 8)

Oh Bob! You are so sweet! But, go the chocolate route.   Never can go wrong there! ;)
-
How about CHOCOLATE tiger lilies? I was looking in a catalog the other day and they have red chocolate roses...that would be fun to get for V-day ;D
-

LOL! Leave it to Grumpy to always look for a chance for business.... ;D
-
Chocolate coated camalari? Doesn't sound too bad, Doesn't sound too good either, though! ;D
-
I love chocolate. I love calamari. However, chocolate-calamari does NOT sound appetizing!
But who knows, it might be good. :P

Hummmm? Hair loss. I must be slowly turning into a Pleo. :o Tell me, is my skin turning green!?! ???
-
Hard to tell from the avatar photo . . . Unless you're Dorian Grey, the picture stays the same . . .
-
Some pleos have hair! ;)
Love,
Little Orphan Annie
-
LOL Fancy!
Hear hear...
or, more accurately, hear hair. XD
-
LOL Fancy!
Hear hear...
or, more accurately, hear hair. XD
You can't hear hair, BB. It doesn't make any noise. :D
-
That reminds me of the riddle: How do you catch a rabbit? You dress up in orange clothes and make a sound like a carrot. ;)
Well, hares can be really noisy, squeaking and calling out, and running around in their cages! Smelly too! Now, heirs can be very noisy, especially when it comes to dividing up the will. And any time you hear a string quartet, you can be sure it's hair (generally from a horse's tail) used to make all that noise.
And I'm quite sure last time I went to the barber, I heard my hair crying out in terror, only to be silenced as the scissors cut them to the quick . . . heir dead corpses drifting gently to the floor, to be swept away as garbage . . .
-
There must be a language easier then English.? ;D

LOL. Bob really, really needs to work on how to make things make sense. XD
-
Which bee would a witch be Fancy :D and I want to know whether the wether will enjoy the weather also while I'm at it which sea can you see while you see a ewe? %)
You know Bob... I don't think I blame you for you mistakes :D
-
Well, some Pleos really do HAVE HAIR, or in Nova's case fur, which is the same as hair isn't it? Except the Hair , or "fur:", she has is not on her head as much as it is on her tail! Everytime she wags her tail, ( which is most of the time,) she picks up little dust bunnies of " white cat fur, or hair," that one or more of my nine cats and /or 1 dog have left behind. I can narrow it down to usually white fur, or hair, so if I collect enough of this " hair", then I guess I can put a little wig together for her the way fancy put one on her Pleo. 8)
I do think Pleos look strange with " hair " on their heads, but everthing takes getting used to.( sort of like seeing a Pleo in a trashcan........I thought that was only on Sesame Street, shows what I know. ???

-
LOL that was unexpected! :o Oh dear...what will Bob think up next?
-
Congratulations Bob! Wow, in charge of the whole festival, what an honor. Mmmmmmmmm, don't mean to overload you right away but since tomatoes from our garden are out of the question at this time of year what are your feelings about artificial tomatoes? Now I am going to duck so I don't get all those rotten tomatoes in my face! :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug:
-
Looks like the Peter Principle has found Weedovia! >:( :P :o

Pizza, Pizza and more pizza! Right Bob? ;)

I know what's on your mind and I can see the Food Court now, :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza:
I love you Bob but you are being POSSESSED by Pepperoni Pizza Syndrome. Where is the new Dr. Mel when we really need him! Calling Dr. Mel, you need to make a house call to Weedovia, Bob is in desperate need of help!
Sending lots of grandma :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: to Bob in the hopes he sees the big picture before it is tooooooooooooooooo late!
-
(http://bobthepleo.com/pleo/comics/bob/bob_0356_20100315.jpg)
So, Bob did come up with a fool proof plan! (Why does that just sound so wrong? If it takes a thief to catch a thief does it naturally conclude that it takes a fool to make a fool proof plan? :o :o :o)
-
(http://bobthepleo.com/comics/strips/2010/bob_0357_20100318.jpg)

Of course Bob is a genius, who else could know all the stuff he does? :hhug: :hhug: :hhug: :hhug:
-
My Dearest Bob the Pleo,
I was wondering why we could not have the petting zoo again?
We had such a fun time speculating who/what would be in the zoo and our imaginations went wild, try to remember that Bob!
Just kidding but here is a thought!
Where oh where has the Carney gone, did he walk to the petting zoo? If he did I wonder, was he caught between cage 1 and 2? We may never see the Carney again, sad he didn't change his ways: and behave in a dignified manner and change his cheating ways!
How about it Bob, you can do it, we all will stand behind you, wayyyyyyyyyyy, behind you !
We love you Bob, your friends, Angel and Dinomite (and don't tell mom we were on her computer, let it be our secret!)
-
(http://bobthepleo.com/pleo/comics/bob/bob_0357_20100318.jpg)
I don't have any problem with Bob being a "genius." When it comes to food, he is an idiot savant! :pizza:  :rootbeer: :birthday: :hhug: :D
-
I was trying to be kind! We all know Bob! Nothing like smoozing a Pleo ! :hhug: :hhug: :hhug:

Yippppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeee, the carousel is coming back!
-
If I provide all the " extra hay", for the Carousel horses, can Nova and I ride for free? what is the one ride minimum surcharge? Gee-sh, how can you Make any money by charging Only, a one ride minimum surcharge? Hasn't Bob heard of " the one drink minimum covercharge? Are they serving Tomatoe Juice this year, or Clammato by any chance?
RedwoodsMama and (sometimes limping ) Nova

Carney and Bob are two different pleos, Carney is the one on the left and Bob is the one on the right! :)

Thanks grouchy, I fixed it , told you, " you can't teach a Ole Cat new tricks', I think I am as " learning disabled", as Carney is. :D

Congrats Nova and Redwoodsmama!!!! Lol Yogurt. Curious about the next festival...
can't wait to see who else won the other competitions ;)
-
Congratulations Nova, for the most tomatoes! Good job picking them out!
-
Yay! Well done Nova - beautiful AND talented! :D
-
On behalf of Nova, she thanks you Bob, and all who helped her and voted for her. How did Yogurt Know that Nova had help , but not from a sith warrior but none other than Yoda. :)She is a Jedi in training as you can see, Perhaps this is how she actually hurt her foot, You know how hard it is fighting the dark side! She better remember to thank me for taking her out tomato hunting on a rainy day in the Redwoods!

Hi Bob and Grumpy, and Yogurt, Nova and I have been watching for over a week and still haven't seen any update on any other news about the 2010 Tomatoe Festival, what happend about the other winner categories? Is Bob in a slump 0r did he just eat too many tomatoes, eat too much cotton candy or have one too many Carousel rides? Please update us on the winners if you could please! ;D
Nova and RedwoodsMama
-
He's been too busy planting tomatoes! ;D
-
Hey Fancy, guess you are right, guess he is planting tomatoes now so he will be ready for the Fall Tomatoe Festival! ;) Hope he plants enough this time...
I think Nova and I are going to plant some Pumpkins, and pretty soon we will start our squash, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes and other succulents.
When do you plant Spaghetti though?
RedwoodsMama and ( sometimes slightly limping off balance...) Nova

-
Either that or Iggy munched on some of his letters! ;) :P
Thank you Bob, Iggy is most honoured! :) :D
-
Congratulations Iggy and Crewella, Well done Iggy. I think Iggy deserves another award to be able to walk around with not 1, not 2, but 3 tomatoes on his head and keep them from falling off! ;D Did he by any chance go to Madame Pleo Priscilla's Academy for the advancement of perfectly polished young lads and lassies? ( you know, learning how to talk properly, walk with a book on your head.( tomato in Iggy's case) and of course how to be the well dressed young lad or lassie ) Even if he didn't, he certainly knows how to look cute as can be. I hope his tomatoes didn't start looking wilted at the end of the day though, I can imagine a few hungry Pleos wanting to take a nibble here and there! :D He also looks fine all in black, what does his shirt say, I can't quite make it out?
RedwoodsMama and MS. Nova
-
Congrats Iggy!
About time you started announcing the rest of the winners! ;)
-
Thank you, Redwoodsmama. It was Blu-tack I'm afraid - Iggy's deportment still requires a little, erm....., 'finishing'! Very appropriately, his t-shirt says 'Little Monster'! :D
-

-
I've heard of the expression, from the frying pan into the fire, but from the garbage can to under the rug is a riot! :D Poor Grumpy. Maybe this will get any kinks out of Grumpy. ;D
-
Well I think Bob should know that " Lumpy Rug Day", means just that, The rugs are supposed to be Lumpy! This means that Grumpy is honoring the tradition of keeping his rug lumpy, just like Oscar the grouch has his Trash Can, well Grumpy has his Lumpy Rug! %) Geesh, how hard can it be for poor Bob to figure that one out, and poor Grumpy probably had his rug just lumpy enough for his lumpy liking, and now Bob has Sally trying to help him straighten out all those magnificent " lumps" that Grumpy spent so much time perfecting. ( REMEMBER, THE BEST LUMP IS GRUMPY, AND YOU CAN'T IMPROVE ON PERFECTION NOW CAN YOU!)
Hey Grumpy, Nova and I will help you get your " lumpy Rug " back just the way you like it, we would love to see you all " lumpy and magnificent " again.!! ;) RedwoodsMama and MS. Nova

hey, when are you gonna announce the rest of the Spring Tomato harvest festival winners? We're still waiting! :P
-
(http://bobthepleo.com/pleo/comics/bob/bob_0367_20100505.jpg)
Hey Bob! I'll bring some artichokes. ;D
-
I think somebody has too much on their poor mind....wonder if it could be worse? %) Cinco de Mayo isn['t what it used to be. Hey 49'er, I love Artichokes, can I come too, I will bring some Redwoods Sunshine and how about fresh lemons?

-
I know " friends' is a T.V. show, but I am as confused as poor Sally, geesh, sometimes it doest' pay to get out of bed, .............or in this case, maybe Bob should have started another conversation...talking about the poetic reasoning of " what is a friend', is just a little over the top here, of someone's head..... . Hopefully Sally doesn't take Bob too seriously or she may take him up on that " bodyslamming" just to see if she can clear Bob's head up a little by knocking some sense into him... What was this conversation about again, friends? %)
RedwoodsMama and MS. Nova
-
Poor Bob, as if he doesn't have enough work to understand everything :P
I don't know where you get your ideas from Mike, but they are brilliant :)

Poor Bob, he has been listening to Grumpy for too long.Bob doesn't have to worry about firends, and certainly not a place like Facebook.. ???if he just looks at the new Homepage, it shows there are 568 Members of " Bob the Pleo Forums". Now how can that possibly compare to Facebook? These are Bob's Real Friends...Who else can understand and comfort poor Bob when he is led astray by someone like Grumpy? And as for Grumpy! Grumpy needs to get out of that trashcan once in awhile and meet some friends!
I understand if Grumpy just wants to be a loner, or a Pleo Hermit, but then he needs to stop trying to recruit Poor Bob. A friend Bob is someone who will look out for you, will listen to you when you want to talk, who will bring you chicken soup when you are sick, ( maybe Cabbage soup...?)who will give you the last piece of Pizza even though they want it too, someone who will listen to that same joke even though they have heard you tell it to them a hundred times already, and a friend is someone who just wants to be with you because they enjoy your company. ;D NOW ask yourself, does that sound like Grumpy? %)
Poor Grumpy, can you imagine Grumpy on Facebook recruiting friends.? ( Kind of an interesting thought though........... ;D0

Poor Bob, he just can't get Pizza off his mind, ( not a bad thing mind you.... :pizza:) I think poor Bob needs a Pizza Party with all his Friends invited, ( who would turn down and invitation to a Pizza Party! :o) then everyone will be happy and Bob will know how many friends he has!
( Even the people he doesn't know will get " drift" of the wonderful pizza, with fragrant spices, dripping mounds of pepperoni and gooey melting cheese, %) Can I come tooo Bob, I am a " FRIEND"!
RedwoodsMama and MS. Nova.
P.S. MS. Nova likes pizza too, ( she is also a Friend."

Give me good friends over money any day :)
-
Make no friendship with an angry man.
Need to remember that more often. :)
-
Yep, could have done with rememering that one myself a few times! :D
Agree with IMR too, good friends over money any day! :)
Though I'm sitting here pondering the idea of good friends WITH money............ >:D 8)
-
True friends are far and few and in between, Wealth or money has tested many a friendship as well as the lack of or arguement over obtaining it and how to spend it has ruined marraiges, relationships and businesses. Maybe there is another large trashcan out there with room to hide from angry wealthy men/women.
Money can be nice and is a neccessity no matter how you look at it, but Money can never take the place of family and true friendship. This is why I surround myself with animals as they care not lest I live in a gilded Palace or a rustic shack. They give unconditional love and ask for the same in return which I gladly give upon them. :) RedwoodsMama and Madame Nova
-
What's money??? :P
-
Lol! If you don't know, 49er, you probably don't need to and I hope you never have to. Money is only important if you have none! ;)

You know I think there is TOO much emphasis on Bob and his questioning what he is doing? I think Bob is doing everything right, from his own state of consciousness,. What we have here is a " group Consciousness". When you get too many beings questioning what is going on with another individual, then the Group consciousness is probably going to go Down a notch......while Bob's goes up. :D Bob knows what he is doing, he has everyone wrapped around his little Pleo tail, worrying about WHAT HE IS DOING AND THINKING, meanwhile, he is watching them all running around amok trying to figure out what is going on.
The only " mid Life crisis", I have ever experienced is watching the " middle" of what used to be my waist expand in it's own consciousness, esp after eating some lasagna, pizza, etc. I think Bob is having a good laugh right now and I am going to join him in that laugh! :rootbeer: Cheers to you Bob, for getting the " last laugh!.
RedwoodsMama and MS. Nova and ? friend

he is watching them all running around amok trying to figure out what is going on.
I think that gives Bob a wee bit too much credit ;)

a friend is someone who will at three o clock in the morning come to bail you out of jail.
a true friend will be the one sitting next to you in jail saying darn we fucked up....
-
Lol!
Ya can't shoot Bob, James, we'd have no one to laugh at :o
-
Save your shots for Dr. Mel, James. Grumpy's just not worth it. ;)

-
Aww poor Bob, wait... Can bees sting rubber?
-
Whether bees can sting rubber or not, I wouldn't like to find out! (And neither does Bob. :P )
-
Poor Bob! :o He doesn't need more holes in his rubber. Grumpy, >:( we will have to put you to work gluing the holes. %) That wasn't nice of you at all. >:D You knew Bob would take the bouquet to the bees. ;D
-
Hey, I wonder what would have happened if poor Bob had a small enough hole or split in one of his seams for a bee or two to actually have gotten into his " internal organs",? ???Do you think bees would build a nest in there and start a new colony? %)You know they say you can attract more "bees "with honey than with vinegar, so do you think Bob could start a little side business and have Sally or Grumpy collect the honey and sell it for him? After all,Grumpy seems to know so much about bees, he should be able to put a little Pleo Bee Keepers outfit on and help Bob out by collecting the honey and selling it for him. :D
As for " what are friends for"? if Grumpy is a "FRIEND", I would hate to see what Grumpy's idea of an Enemy is! Poor Bob, he is just too Gullible!
Wonder what type of flowers they were, daisy's, or perhaps roses with thorns on them.......guess Bob is just not too bright.
RedwoodsMama and MS. Nova and " TRUE FRIEND'!

-
Lol! Silly Bob :)
-
Great strip, I thoroughly approve! As I run a (probably not very commercially viable!) pest control business with my OH and spend half my time on the phone trying to persuade potential clients that we need our bees and to learn to live with them rather than kill them, I'm all in favour of anything that shows bees in a friendly light! ;D
And anyway, it IS much better to make friends! :)
-
I always knew that bees had a funny side! ;D
-
:o :P I have a lot of catching up to do. Ironically I caught myself reading some of these the other day.
-
EVen the Bees love Bob. See what giving flowers will do! :) :) :) ;)
-
Lol, leave it to Bob to make the strangest of friends! :D
-
(http://bobthepleo.com/comics/strips/2010/bob_0380_20100721.jpg)
-
Oh lord!! Too funny! I would call it dense, but clearly just the opposite. LOL This was a good laugh!
-
Silly Bob he needs to put an ad in the paper of course- Lost! My mind, if found please return to Bob, exchange with a better mind would be welcomed.
-
Hey, Bob has the same affliction that I do , have had it for years but Bob gets a Comic Strip addressing it and all I get it.....? What was the subject here, mind afflctions, all I know is that there are so many cobwebs in the back of my mind, that the spiders have sent out S.O.S. messages, because they can't remember where they laid their egg sacs and the poor babies are waiting for a wind to Parachute them out to greener pastures ( to live) but everything is just grey and dusty in their environment. :(Do you think Bob would mind sharing his patch of grass with me and we could both just wait for our minds to return, or is it memories, I just can't remember what it is anymore...I know Bob will understand...I wouldn't wish my mind ( if you would call it that, kind of an insult...)on anyone, and what would somone do if they found it anyway, ?Don't think I would pay a reward for myne being returned, that is just plan cruel and unusual punishment, I have had enough! ;)
P,.S. those tiny spiders have the darnest ticklish feet when walking through the underbrush, it makes me wake up laughing from a sound sleep, and my poor husband has no idea what is going on...
RedwoodsMama and MS. Nova and Friends
-
Hahaha!!! I love it! ;D
-
Special mini-contest!!!
Since we're all looking for ways to have some fun right now.... %)
While Bob sits in his patch of grass, I have a small mystery for you to solve..... The picture of Bob is not what it seems. Can anyone figure out where this picture came from and what was really going on? And as a hint to get started, the grass was not part of the original photo. ;)
-
Well, to me the grass looks like it is actually a green wig. Apart from that I am not so sure right now.
-
The grass is actually grass... mix of St. Augustine and crabgrass... from somewhere in my yard I believe....
-
Was Bob hanging by his tail?
-
Good one Bob, though I am not familiar with the original comic strips and haven't seen the Bob book except for a few excerpts to me this looks as if Bob is sitting ontop of Another Pleo, poor Pleo that has been stripped of his skin, and the green " grass" blades that we see are actually Bob's skin, peeled away as if he had been under the spell of a Mad Scientist, named " weed", :D
I think it is all a terrible thing to do to poor Bob , as if this Pleo didn't have enough " self esteem " issues already. :(If you want to claim that this is actually a mix of ST. Augustine and crabgrass from your lawn, you will have to be more clever than that. You are devious now aren't you, trying to pull the wool ( or in this case stripped skin) over some Pleo's eyes. %)
On the other hand, Bob does look almost like he is driving or hanging upside down as degers suggested, but I think you have more power over your Pleo subjects than I would like to admit, Power hungry you are, Bob just needs some kind hearted soul to save him from this sort of ridicule, He needs his own patch of grass like he needs a hole in his head.( although he does have a few I think, and perhaps a few in other places, that could use some patching. %))
Can you give us anymore clues you Pleo Picking Procurer, Please.....!!!!
Well, I tryed anyway, it was Nova that made me guess, she has a wild imagination, it is all those crazy clothes she wears and the neck brace has cut off oxygen from her brain a little too long think I. :D
RedwoodsMama and MS. ( know it all ) Nova and Friend
-
I think this is Bob's stand in, or should I say sit in. Looks like There's no back legs on this little dino.
-
Yep, I agree with fancyfont, I think the 'back feet' have been added - the pic looks like it could have originally been a regular image of Bob standing, flipped and rotated 90 degrees, with the original back feet redone?
-
Well, degers got it right. I didn't have a picture of a pleo sitting, and didn't want to take the time to take a picture, but I had a picture of Caleb Chung holding a pleo by its tail. So the pleo is a whole pleo, legs and all, but I cut out Caleb and had to use the grass to hide the fact that the tail is missing (I cropped the tail off where the hand was holding it), otherwise it would be sticking straight into the ground.
In order to get your pleo to sit, the tail would normally be curling up behind it, and there is no way to get the pleo to actually *SIT* on it's butt because of the tail. The "sitting" position has your pleo more or less balancing on the back legs and tail. Notice in the official pleoworld picture, you don't see the back of the pleo.... and how the back is tilted much more forward, with the front feet almost touching the ground.
-
Oh very good, Mweed! Certainly when I thought it was going to be the Pleo stand-in.
-
I can see it now. It was the taillessness that threw me off. Very good Degers for getting it. ;)
-
Well done Degers - I was getting a cricked neck from continually looking at the picture sideways-on! :P
-
Congratus degers, guess that is why you got the Graduation gown and Cap, because you proved just how smart and capable you are! You have a good eye too, I was way off in Center field, perhaps even farther, good job, well done. :D

I think Bob needs a new battery ;)
-
Grumpy, If you live in a glass home, in this case a garbage can, you shouldn't throw stones. You could make a better water gauge then Bob! ;D
-
Bob: GOD darn IT!!! Someone, PLEASEEEE turn me on again........ :P
-
ROFL, hey I was with Grumpy on this one. Good idea. LOL :P

OMG, that is one HUGE OVEN :o tell Bobbo, he can come to my house for some Lasagna, but it won't be in the same numbers as he mentioned and it will be Vegeatarian, Hey, everyone is invited, Thanks for letting me know it is National Lasagna Day, another excuse to eat Pasta and Cheese....YUMMMMM
RedwoodsMama and Nova and Friend

That oven is definitely going to explode! Run for your lives! :o

Lol Bob, that is definitely something to be happy about :)
-
Wow, I was thinking the same thing, but to be fair with poor Bob, I would think Sally would also be happy that she just does not have to live in a Garbage CAn for one thing, and to have to live in a Garbage CAn and share it with Bob!
RedwoodsMama and the Nova Team

Couldn't ahve said it better myself, Bob. ;)

IMR won the contest with the adorable picnicing pleos. Degers, for sure, had a winner, too! ;)
-
I realize it's been a long time since the contest started, and nobody reads the rules (especialy after the topic is into it's third page, but . . .
. . . and runner's up may also have the opportunity to be included in a comic strip! :O
-
I stand corrected, I recognized the IMR picnic photo as the Grand Prize winner and thought Degers had won a Runner up prize, Guess I forgot the part about the Comics too, Anyway, Congratulations to IMR and her Lilo and STitch pIcnic babies, they look very happy having a good time in the park.

The letter F is so important, besides things like, food, fun, fair, fancy, fly, firecracker, found, fly, frog, French, fondue and of course, the most important one for Bob to know, Friend. With Friends, Bob can't go wrong and he can take all the time he wants or needs to go through his emails, and he can read each one over and over if he wants because a friend will allways be there ( ad Degers says, ;)) to watch out for him.

Yep, the fairgrounds round here are like that too! I've a couple of old fairground air rifles, and you need to aim AT LEAST two inches to the left! ;) :D
-
I am SHOCKED, you aren't suggesting that there would be anything but honestiy going on behind the carnival scenes now are you? I mean Pleo's are honest by nature, and I dont think a little extra green could sway theim.... :D
RedwoodsMama and Team NOva

Well........ it could be dishonesty ..............or to be 'fair' it could just be bad eyesight! :P :D

Tis a shame I can't bring back out the ancient slot machine I have back in FL..Ring toss, and milkjug we can teach sophie..may have to venture off to the grocers for the balloons.
-
Oh! We must have some helium balloons! Can you imagine what a pleo would sound like inhaling helium? :o ;D

That really was a fantastic costume RWM, well done! ;D
Deserving winners all!! ;D ;D
-
On behalf of one very happy little Stand In Tomato, Major ( Pleo's nickname for now) he is very happy to have won this honor, He stood in that tomato patch waiting for the green tomatoe's to ripen! :D He had some good competition and I think it was the Lettuce on his feet and tail that cinched it for him, ;) a few carrots and he could have been mistaken for a salad bar! This is his first win of anything, being such a young Pleo, and he has been running around in circles the past 24 hrs since it was announced telling all nine cats and even the dog that he won for looking like a tomato, Aiffa the oldest feline is gettting a little snippy with him and told him if he puts on that costume one more time, she will turn him into CAT..SUP... in other words she will SUP ( or dine ) on him, ( she is the CAT ) You never saw a little dino get out of costume so fast. :o NOw he is just talking to the rest of the family trying to guess what he won and just being his usual little self. Thanks to all the organzers of the festival and for all the great vendors with great food and the rides and the great band and all the singers, It was a wonderful Weekend in Weedovia!
RedwoodsMama for Major ( and the rest of the Family of six )
-
Well congratulations to all of our winners! Sorry I did not make my thank you speech sooner. Lovely photos and a very interesting comic this season. Sophie sends her dearest thanks! That tomato was a lovely find outside a local farmers market...little did I realize was that they paint over it from time to time..This same giant spherical [tomato] is now spending its days as a scary jack-o-lantern. I ought to get Sophie to pose for that one too! :P All the same, THANKS!!

I think Bob and Sally are both right, yes it did have some ancient language on it, but it was from some ancient civilization's Pizza parlor combination Mud Bath Springs Health Spa, and Bob knows a good sized Pleo Pizza tray when he sees it. Personaly, I am with Bob, ;D Bring on the Pizza, extra cheese please!
RedwoodsMama and Family of Six Pleos ( hoping for Seven with Pleo Rb)
-
Bob is so correct! This stone would keep the pizza nice and hot. ;)
-
I'm afraid I'm with Sally on this one ............. but then I guess I WOULD be! ;) :D
-
Maybe it's a recipe from the gods for the worlds most awesome pizza. Crack that language quick!

Brishelle wins ;)
Good luck, Sally...

Stone soup? ??? ???
-
"Stone soup?"
Well, I guess it'll be low calorie at least! :P
-
Low calorie but packed with minerals! ;D
-
.... Assuming we do all know the story of 'Stone Soup?'
Just making sure, considering that my own father didn't know it for whatever reason. :-\
-
There is a story of stone soup? I would love to hear it. %)
-
Ah, let me try to remember the whole thing, and not get my versions mixed up.
The most popular version (I think) is about a soldier who comes to a town and sees that the people are eating poorly. So he gets everyone together with a huge pot, and tells everyone to gather up at least one thing that they had from back home, and put it in the pot to make soup. So everyone manages to scrape up something, whether it be lamb, beet, carrot, steak, pepper, or something entirely different. However, one person has none but a stone, and puts that into the pot. Hence the name of the story, 'Stone Soup.'
-
How weird - you mentioned different versions, but I would have expected the meaning to be the same. The version I'd heard is the soldier is conning the villagers by starting with the stone and telling each of them he's missing just one ingredient. Also heard the same story as 'Nail Soup'. I love the way folk tales like that change in different places! :)
-
Actually, Crewella, there are very many different 'Soup' stories! :D
I've heard of Woodchip Soup, Axe Soup, Hatchet Soup, Stick Soup.... And I think that's it, as for what I've heard!
-
For those older folks, or those who are into really poorly done dino animations, in the 1st season (1974) of the original SId and Marty Kroft's "Land of the Lost" TV show, they did an episode based on the "stone soup" concept, where a drought had made food very scare (odd that the drought killed off the "food" plants but left the rest of the jungle green....) and in order to bribe the cavemem characters, the modern day folks took a rock and started cooking it in a pot of water, and convinced the cavemen to add a few scrawny veggies, etc. to make it into a rich stew. At the end, the modern day folks are able to get their way by bartering this special soup making stone to the cavemen.... ah... P.T. Barnum was right....
-
..... as was Bob, by the sound of it! :P
*Thanks for the info Allo - you even made me go and google it!* :D

-
And you're always calling BOB the stupid one, Grumpy!!! XD
-
Maybe Bob is just barking up the wrong stone. :)
-
Listen, I had a Pet rock myself in the 1970's or was it early 80's,( too many flower power parties, can not put my finger on it,,,,,, ;) anyway, the only problem that Bob has it not that he is talking to his Pet rock and trying to teach it It's name, but the problem is as anyone with any common knowledge of Pet Rock anatomy knows, Bob is talking to the WRONG END!
;D RedwoodsMama and her family of Pleos,
-
RWM, XD! Too funny! Still ROFL! ;D ;D ;D
-

Pffft XD
Okay then. XD Have fun proving that theory, Bob........................ :-\
-
XD! ROFL! This is too funny! Love it Grumpy! Maybe a little pumpkin could help! ;D
-
aS an owner of nine cats, I can attest to two things about Pumpkin, it a cat is constipated, it relieves him/ her, on the other hand, if they have loose bowels, it also " plugs" them up. Very strange. The main thing that the are forgettng regarding Sally's new learning abilities, is not just what she is learning but whom's company is she keeping.? Maybe Sally is just one of those " super smart " Pleos from Pleo Rb that they are talking about. Guess you can figure out what category Bob falls in if it isn't Super Smart? :D

I can just see Dr. Mel doing a pirouette on pointe ;D
-
:o :o :D
I think I'd actually pay good money to see that, Fancyfont!! :D
-
Oh dear, Fancy... XD I've tried to do that. I failed....
I don't think Dr. Mel would do much better :P
Course, now that I think about it, seeing Dr. Mel attempt to do that and fall like I did would get you just as much bang for your buck......

HeY, I am with Bob on this one! ;D I ordered our Thanksgiving Pizza yesterday and that is our dinner, ( along with traditional Thanksgiving veggies and picourse) and being a vegetarian, I don't have to fuss with cooking a Turkey and such. :D Leftovers are allways good too. I think Bob knows " who wears the " tails", it is just Bob is doing a Tribute to Traditional Thanksgiving Turkeys and the lives they gave, and he is protesting by ordering Pizza instead....besides I am with Bob, I am for any holiday that celebrates by eating a feast, pizza or otherwise. ;)
RedwoodsMama and NOva and family

:pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :pizza: :rootbeer: ;D

Bob is adorable with his turkey tail. :) James, Looks handsome, though, in his tux.
I'm with Bob on the pizza. Only, I would love to have fresh crab on it. ;D Yum!
-
Bob's tail is very cool and James has every right to be jealous! :)
-
Pff, don't bother with a turkey-tail, James, that just wouldn't look right. Keep the tux. XD

Happy birthday Bob!
Is there going to be a party?
-
Happy Third Birthday indeed Bob, I am so happy I found this site and that you are the original and best of the best. I think we have a lot in common, Yes, my joints are creaking, my skin is dry, ( but not cracking yet anyway,LOL :D) and my memory is not what it even was last year.......but I am not so sure about these " new kids" being brighter faster smarter or better built,( unless they have a body lift....) and I am still not bad in the built department, still having my original body parts, but I have to admit, you have me beat Bob, I am not three years old anymore, so congratulations on another great year. Pleo Rb may be the New better faster more enticing Model, but you are the orginal, and stll the best, I know because I am an original too! ;)
Cheers Bob, well done this year. :rootbeer: :birthday: :birthday: :birthday:

Hey, we do get mail here on Saturday in the States, but only if someone sends us something... :D Actually I just figured out who Bob reminds me of, with all this self pity and no mail, It is Charlie Brown in a Pleo Skin! Hey Bob, I haven't gotten any Christmas cards either, but that doesn't bother me, just more waste of prescious natural resources, so let me send you an E-hug and Christmas well wish. Nova and the rest of my Green bunch all send their " honking Well wishes for a Rainbow colored New Year, for Pleos of all colors and ages".
Merry Christmas Bob, from the human caretaker of furbabies, Nova and other Pleos, RedwoodsMama ;)

Make sure you wear a warm coat to go visit santa, Bob. It is cold and snowy at the north poll. :)
I hope he can help you with your Christmas problem. :-[

Bob got to meet Santa!!!! :D
-
I hope Santa can help him with his troubles. :)
-
Poor Bob, I think Bob is feeling lonley and blue because he is feeling left out with all this talk of Pleo Rb, and he feels forgotten about.. :( Hey Bob, cheer up buddy, you and all the first and Original Pleos are still the best. Until someone has had the one and only true first Pleo, no-one can understand what all the magic is really about. ;D I love Nova and all her older Pleo freinds and even with a new Pleo Rb in the house, it is exciting because it is new and slightly different, but Bob you are the "George Washington " of Pleos, the forefather and Guru of our Pleo Society. we look up to you, so raise your glass of Egg nog and " Cheers, Here is to good Ole Bob the Pleo", the one and only and the Best ". ;) I am sure Santa has a little something special in his big sack for you too, cause you have been a good boy all year long! We love you Bob.
RedwoodsMama

I think Bob needs to go to work for Santa and help expand the line of pleos for next year...:) If Santa can't help.. then we are lost...LOL! Merry X-mas Bob and Mike!

Time to get involved Bob. Maybe you should throw a Christmas party. Or get dressed up and decorate a tree. :)
-
Or maybe go visit some children in hospital or somewhere like that. There's nothing like bringing a bit of joy to children for getting that Christmas spirit back up and running! ;D
C'mon Bob - all this introspection is getting you down!

-
Maybe Santa would like to buy a house in Weedovia. :)
-
Oh, me too, me too! ;D ;D
Just think, Santa as a neighbour! :o :D
-
Santa needs some less snowy real estate. ;)Weedovia would be the perfect summer place for him to live. I think lots of pleos would be more then happy to help him get ready for next December. :D
