Long, long ago in what seems like a galaxy far, far away . . . the Bob the Pleo forums began. :dino-chase:
Yes, five years ago, on December 12th, 2008, a small group of pleo fans left homeless by the demise of the Ugobe hosted PleoWorld forums, decided to start our own forums. The very first topic was "Ugobe server move - What a disaster!" which was soon merged with the more appropriately named second topic "Pleoworld disaster". More than 4000 topics and 57,000 posts later, after five years, we're still here.
And, sadly, when we started the forums, we were totally unaware that December 12th is Ding-a-ling Day.

Happy 5th anniversary to Bob The Pleo Forums, :dino-chase:  I for one and all of my Pleo township Pleos of the Redwoods are happy to have found this site, though we have only been here since January 2010.....it seems like forever. I hope Bob the Pleo Forums continues for many happy years. ONly Bob would know some trivia like, Dec. 12th being Ding A Ling day............is that anything like Ding Dongs? %) Anyone remember those little yummy tummy ticklers? I use to love those. ;) RWM :cat-hug:

Wow! Happy birthday Bob the Pleo Forums! I'm so greatful this place exists. I actually discovered pleo in two thousand seven but I was a broke colledge student then so I had to hold off. I made up for lost time in two thousand eleven and plunged headlong into the world of robotic pets. Now I have friends from all over the world.

I would be lost without this forum. :-*

Such a fantastic resource ;D
I've always found that forums run by real owners and enthusiasts are a lot better than official ones and often have much better answers for those difficult questions
