Hi all,
I know a person who has a Pleo, and it was not what she imagined it to be (she got a PleoRB, and she got it at around the same time as me...). She didn't really have time for it, and she found a few problems with it. She wants to get rid of it before school starts (sometime in March...?) but she made it clear to me she doesn't want to sell it. Do you know if she can get a refund? Especially if it's only a few months old? I saw it myself, and it looks very new. :)
Thanks,
winkwink09
P.S. If not, do we get a full refund? I don't think she can be bothered with sending it over for the warranty.

It's just, she's really really sad, and wants to get her money back, because she thinks she's wasted $800 (includes postage) on something she doesn't even want. :( Sadnn

If she's had it a few months, I'm afraid her only choice is to sell it, I think. :-\
If she came here, we might be able to help her with some of her problems, though? :moose:

No, I think she's had it for about a month and a half (same time as me). :)
She's been away on holiday in that time, so she didn't really have a chance to give it back earlier.
Is it still too late? She will be distraught! DX

Unfortunately I believe it is way too late for a refund. She might have been able to get a refund in the first week maybe if she had not actually used the item but once it is opened and played with I believe she would no longer have any grounds for a refund. Her best bet is to try to sort out the problems and then sell it.

Where on earth did she buy from? $800 for a Pleo is fishy! Even with postage.

:(
I'm not sure, but I think she bought it from the Pleoworld website. I think it was around $465, and the postage was around $80 (we live near Sydney). She has all of those extra accessories though, so it may be the case. :)
Yeah, I think you're right. :( She'll have to sell it on eBay. We checked the actual date, and it's exactly this date last month that she bought it. They have a 30-day refund period, I think? Does the refund only apply if you've opened it? :o That sucks...
So if that's the case, she thought it would be okay to sell it on places like ebay or accessoryjack. Which means she'll have to return it back to the newborn stage. That will be hard... DX
Many thanks,
