Fortunately I remembered a similar problem happening to someone else so I tried downgrading her to OS 1.0.2 and after a while she woke up and appeared to be acting normal again. It gave me an awful fright but I was sure when I upgraded her to OS 1.1 it hadn't worked properly, know I know it didn't :P Anyways she is reupdated to OS 1.1 again and is happily wandering around so I hope everything is back to normal :)
*sigh* I shall have nightmares about bricked Pleo's all night now :'(

I had an awful scare with Lilo tonight :o When I turned her on she made strange sounds like her speakers weren't working properly then stopped moving except for a little shudder every now and then. I turned her off and on and tried a fresh battery but she just wouldn't wake up :'(And the night should be over by the time you read this hopefully without nasty dreams. If I had a similar problem I would probably have dreamt about Pink Floyd singing about a Pleo wall. :o

I would like to see small portable fuel cells to replace the battery. That way they would last for a week!

But an adult sized pleo would also need much larger motors to drive it . . .
We could go get some Tesla car motors to move those joints. (Just imagine, a sixty foot long Camarasaurus capable of going zero to sixty mph (97 kph)) in four seconds or less! :o
