Hello again, everyone! Yes, today is my 17th birthday, which I shall share with Pleiades
I'm going to set about making sure Pleiades is ready for activation sometime this afternoon... looks like I may be a little busy, since my audition is this afternoon (it was going to be Wednesday, but we kind of had a blizzard :S ), and we have conferences after that, but at least I don't have school today (coincidence). I should be able to have a good hour with her this afternoon, anyway

I like your video! The nuzzling is so sweet... and the singing is excellent.
I've always found it fascinating how cephalopods (squids included, naturally) manage to do things so differently than the mammal-types we're used to. And I like the way the termite nest works... they're very different from ants or bees; for one thing, they're not divided by gender, having male and female workers, and not only queens but also kings. And the kings and queens mate for life. Still, this picture doesn't apply to all species, but to a good many. And I find that snow leopards are simply irresistible.
Our carpet shouldn't be too shaggy, it's a little fuzz about half the length of a fingernail. Booties are a nice idea though... we do still have some old baby socks from my infancy (I'm an only child), so hopefully we'll be able to find some of the right size.
I'll do a little thread exploration today, methinks! I haven't really looked at much outside this New Members forum yet, so it will be good to broaden my horizons.
We have a non-digital camera, but we do have a scanner, so I probably could upload some photos eventually. Also, I'm definitely thinking about getting a personal camera for myself, which probably
would be digital. So I can see about sharing some shots.
I love this word "pleodaling." I may have to use it at every opportunity.
*gasp* Calamari blasphemy!

*calms down* It's okay, I'll stop pouring on the guilt now.

Many thanks for your responses! This afternoon shall be a hatching day!
