Yes, Bob the Pleo has a page on facebook.  For some unknown facebook logic, they combine the "the" with the "Pleo" in "Bob the Pleo", so his name shows up as first name "Bob" and last name "ThePleo".

But to be honest, I don't ever do anything on it except play games, anyway.

SO, the two favors to ask of everyone out there on the forums is: come up with suggestions on how to make the facebook page useful.  And, if the mood strikes you, add Bob as a friend. 

Bob does all his socializing here on the forums, so facebook is more of a link to outside people to find us.  He doesn't really hang out there much.  He doesn't twitter.  But are there any other sites he should have a presence on?

Well, I've started posting the new comic strips out on FaceBook, and I think I'll start posting highlights from topics here with links back to the forums, but there should be something more useful to do with FaceBook...   FarmVille will never bring new fans to the forums!

BUT...

I have created a Facebook app we can use to help promote things.  I've really just gotten started with it, but that makes this the best time for comments and suggestions on what to do!

The app is located at: http://apps.facebook.com/pleomoods/ (you'll have to be logged into Facebook to use it.  It actually sits here on the same server as the forums, so sometimes there are delays in the images showing up....)

Anyway, right now, all the app does is let you "pick a mood" and it posts a message to your wall and to your friend's news feeds.  But this way, every time you post your "mood" it has a cute pleo picture and links back to the site here.  Thus helping spread the word....

What I need from you all is pictures of pleos to include and other "moods" to expand the list.  From there it's also a question of what else could we have the app do?

I don't have the time or animation graphic tools to create a "PleoVille" game, but if someone out here does, I'll be happy to help get it going!  Creating a non-animated web game similar to that infamous "dragon cave/egg" thingy or Mafia Wars would be pretty easy to do, but that would never do well against a nice animated flash-based game like all the others on Facebook.

So....  what are your suggestions???
