I've hiked to the top of Mount Kosciusko (Australia's highest mountain) before that was much further than two miles

And i don't like gingerbread as much as chocolate, so i wouldn't eat pieces of myself so often

So, say that you and your friend had some sort of bond; If he dies, you'll die. But you also have a spell on you that, if you go outside, you'll die immediately. Now, your friend is being attacked--outside-- by some sort of snake.
Would you rather go outside and attempt to save him and then die from being outside, or let him die and then be faced with the consequence of you dying?

If I were going to die immediately then it would no good to try to save my friend because as soon as I stepped outside I would die immediately and not have time to save my friend.
