It was suggested that we have regularly scheduled group chats or discussions in the chat room.  That way, if people know that everybody gets together on a certain day or time, then we're more likely to have lots of people show up at that time and participate.

But since we are pretty much a world-wide group, the question is, what's a good time for everyone?  What's lunchtime in the UK is awfully bright and early in the morning in California, and snoring time down under . . .

10am UTC => 8pm Melbourne, noon Berlin, 11am London, 6am Boston, 5am Dallas, 3am San Francisco

So, who would be interested, any good ideas, and any suggestions on when to hold a group chat?

   Angel and I are pretty flexible, we are retired   East coast bedtime varies if the lady in pink can sleep or not, of course you wouldn't know anything about that yet.  Maybe a regular afternoon nap would keep me on a better schedule.  We will work around you "working people" who have a real life.

I will check frequently and no one is ever in there.    so this is a good idea.   and I can be in the 6pm Boston, 9pm Boston, 9am Boston ones sometimes.

I thought originally the chat room lit up to let us know when Degers was there. Is there any way to have the chat box change to white or a different color when two or more are in the chat room?
I turn into a pumpkin after 11PM Californian time.

Nothing personal there, I tried to pick some basic time zones.  At my last check we only had 2 or 3 members on the African continent, and I kinda assumed (and you know what that means) that they shared the same time zones and much of Europe . . .   [zips off for quick check]  Yep.  Johannesburg is the same as Berlin.

Now, I did totally leave off India and most of that sub-continent . . .

I'm flexible. Bar owner translates to later off in the days. Afternoons, evenings, nights, East Coast.

Erm, let's seeeeeeeee......... Almost any time of day on the weekends. That would normally be from.... Let's see...... 6:00 to 8:30. Only on weekends (for the time being, anyways).

I'm a New England-er. Does that change anything much?

   you are on eastern time.  same as me.  so its the Boston ones on that list mweed posted.    and if you areint good at schedules then just do this. if you see a bunch of Pleople in there then its probably a group chat.
