A lot of questions about pleos
Dilo63:
Hi
I play often with them so it's good I think
But I wonder what the next stage for Charlie ?
She is in the stage 5: old age. So what next ?
I'm surprised by this stage because in the book (yes I read all the compagnion guide) they talk about 4 stages and not more... ???

Hi Elodie,
Don't worry! There isn't any programed "stop working" feature!
Charlie will stay old forever now (unlike me ;) ).
At some point he may start moving at a reduced motor speed (maybe he already is).
The good people at INNVO Labs never made their OS open source or really wanted end users to know too much about the internals.
The software development kit was really just a leftover from the UGOBE (previous developers who did want users to tinker with the internals of Pleo) days.
If you are really interested in how Pleo works, the INNVO SDK (even if you don't plan to make software) will give you a great insight into how Pleo works.

Hello Peter
Yes, Charlie don't move a lot, she doesn't walk for example. But she loves hugs...
For the program I had already downlod the SDK but don't open it for the moment.
Maybe this weekend if I found some time for that.
No problem to program or use a woftware ;) I use a lot Matlab and Python for my job and at home for my bots ;D
I'm enjoyed to know that Charlie can't die with the age :o ;D
Thanks again.

Hi heatherbergh,
Have you had a problem with the Pleoworld site or with your Pleo?
Cheers!
Peter
