Pleo in display case?
Talon:
Now I understand what you're doing after reading your "programming an Ugobe" post. Did you download the correct operating system? Go to the link here on the forum that says "Pleo classic OSes". These are the operating systems for the Ugobes. I think you could successfully try any of these operating systems other than the 1.0 downgrade and of course the pop OS, but if these guys are the display moddels you were talking about, I really don't know what they can run. I hope you can get them going.

Piggy:
I hope you can get them working on the ugobe software .
HuggieZ:
We tried with an SD card with 2 GB, but the card did not work on the computer. So they are still in their demo fase.
HuggieZ:
The Pleo's don't react on the SD card with the update. We tried everyone of them, but there is no reaction. We used an 1 GB SD card. What am I doing wrong?
grumpy:
The card is probably still too big. The original Ugobe pleos can't read SD cards marked as SDHC (High Capacity or FAT32) or SD cards marked as SDXC (exFAT). Standard SD cards must be 2GB or smaller, but SDHC can be found on smaller capacity cards as low as 128MB, and has been on the market since 2006. Check the specs on the card and make sure it's not an SDHC.
There were "display" models made for retail stores. These were powered by a wire that ran from the back foot down into the display case. The POP OS was designed specifically for these display models. If your pleos run on batteries and don't have the wire, they are probably regular pleos purchased for the exhibit.
