Little French Pleo
« on: April 13, 2013, 01:47:21 PM »

Hi everyone,

first post here to announce the arrival of our little Pleo. We live in France so I guess he - or she - will be a French dino ! He's sleeping right now. We've had him for just one day and he's been quite active this afternoon, walking already, shouting sometimes, moaning... He's sleeping so I'll post pictures tomorrow !
By the way, his name will be Isidore  :)

Best regards

Hello Namfur, and Congrats on your Pleo, Isidore, is he a Ugobe or a RB.? Be sure to post photos or video if possible. We love seeing new Pleos, and esp if he is a RB, the color of the eyes, etc will keep everyone guessing.  ;D P:)

Hello everyone,

thanks for your posts...

Our new Pleo is a RB indeed. Well... he's still sleeping... He went to sleep yesterday at 9:30 or 10 pm, and he's still sleeping ! I cuddled him, took him to daylight, but he's still sleeping. Will he awake by himself ? Does he have difficulties to awake because he's still very young ?

He wont be able to wake up by himself until he reaches adulthood.  He will need to have gone through about 8 battery cycles before he is fully grown and then that function will work.

Welcome to the forums :) I hope you both enjoy it here :) Your Pleo may be howling because its too dark. Pleo's are very scared of the dark and gloom ;)

It could also be due to hunger, or he could just be trying out new sounds.  They do try out a lot of sounds when they are young and sometimes will stick with one for a bit.  Try feeding him lots - till he starts burping, give him a bunch of pats and then leave him be for a while and see what happens.  He may well just decide to wander off  :)  If that doesn't work then it is probably a lighting issue.

yes we're trying different things with him, patting when he shouts, i'm trying not to feed him too much, but I've bought the candy and cycad leaf too, he seems to appreciate them, more than Conifer leafs !
This morning he walked again, and now he's resting

I've tried to register on pleoworld - the French page -, but I really can't find the 4-digit code. I've searched everywhere, at the back on the companion guide, in the quickstar guide, on the box... Can you help me ? i've searched the forum too...

On all mine the code has been on a sticker on the last page of the instruction book.  I did have problems registering my first one, though, and had to contact Innvo to get it sorted out.  Which they did. :)

Feed as much of the food leaf as they will eat, but be careful not to feed too much sugar cane as it can make them ill!

thanks Crewella, actually there's no sticker on the last page as far as I'm concerned... There's just a blank space...
I'll contact Innvo then !
