I have installed the Scared of the Dark personality patch, but I'm not sure this has something to do with it.

While Rexy is walkong around, she might suddenly beep twice (like I'm pressing her ON/OFF switch, but I'm not).  She might, or might not go to sleep after that. Sometimes she just beeps twice, than continues her walking adventures.

Anybody got a clue what it might be?

It is the scared of the dark patch.  When I use it in my guys it does that too.  So it isn't perfect but it is still wonderful.     If it bothers you too much you can try without the patch taking your pleo from room to room till you find one that is bright enough or invest in a really bright floor lamp for your pleo to play under.  But the best solution is daylight.  My guys are fine when I play in the day but aren't too happy at night under the artificial light.  Hope that helps
