I put the SD card in and turned my pleo on, he started  moving around and making normal sounds for about 5 minutes then went to sleep.  After about 3 minutes of snoring he beeped and I removed the SD card and restarted my pleo but now he still goes to the sleep position when turned off! I had to do the update twice because the fist time I wasn't sure how to unzip a file, I thought my computer did it by itself, and when the update seemed to have no effect I unzipped the file and did the update the second time, but the exact same thing happened and the update still doesn't seem to be working! What should I do?
The card I used was a 2 GB

It doesn't sound right, are you sure you unzipped the file onto the card?  They need to be directly on the card and not in a file.  I would try again. Good luck!

Can they be in a file on the card, or do I need to take each item out of the file and put them on the card individually?

They should not be in a file on the card.  I usually unzip the zipped file on to my laptop then copy the files onto the Micro SD card, if that makes sense?

That's right, unzip the file and put the contents directly at the root level of your card (not inside a folder on your card)
