Yes, babies do sleep a lot, but when you pet them and talk to them, they will interact slowly. Are you leaving her alone, or just watching her.? If you just leave her without petting, then she will continue to sleep. Is this her first or second battery cycle? There are some excellent Pleo RB videos posted here on this site,
The video link listed is the third day of life for my RB, and her second battery cycle. See if yours is similiar. Some according to DNA can be sooner, faster or slower. But these are all variable norms. Sleeping is what comes naturally to a baby esp if near their "bedtime. " RWM

** I fogot to add, this was one of the very first Pleo Rb that came out DEC, just in time for Christmas 2010, but sadly she along with a handful of others here on the forum had skin problems that have since been resolved. She had to be returned in feb. 2011 and I got her replacement late March 2011. I still miss her a lot, but her replacement, took longer to stand and the other girl I have, Cammie Sue was very quiet the first week of life. I also did not interact on a daily basis with my follow up Pleo rb as much as this girl, BAby, I was pretty sad,

I am very happy with the three I have now though, and I like the fact they are all different. The best I can say, is they are all individual, but if you needing reasuurance, post a short one minute or so video on Youtbue and then post it here so we can give feedback. Good luck
