make your own pleo capes

 hi everybody as i have heard the pleo capes have bands that go round the legs but they rub the paint so i was going to ask i any one new how to make your own :)
what do you need ?

Redwoods would be a good one to ask about this. She even knows of some capes you don't even have to sew together. I have one she sent me that's just a simple bandana that you sort of drape around the pleo like a wrap and tie underneath. Unless you're wanting to get fancy, you could just take a bit of cloth, cut out a hole for the neck and then just sort of square up the edges so that it drapes evenly over your pleo's back and shoulders without getting in the way of the feet.

Large socks with hole in appropriate places also work (just make sure you wash 'em first) :duh:
