Ok, I figure I may know the answer to this, but IMR is really good at posting all the Pleo Rb vids and I just went through and watched several of them, but still do not know the exact answer and I figure I am not the only person on this forum to get a "Pleo RB" adopted out, or one owned by someone else. I know Talon got two that were already hatched, so she knows the answer but I would like to hear what the situation is on my questions. Ok, I just got a slightly used Pleo Rb on ebay, It was such a Great deal, I did the Buy it now, without even a minute's hesitation,. there was a best offer also, but with such a great deal it made no sense to make an offer and perhaps someone else would snap him up.
This new Pleo Rb has been hatched of course and is an adult, being on for what adds up to about a month's time, slightly longer, about 6 weeks total is what I was told, He is in Excellent conditon so no problems there, Here is my questions, I asked the previous owner what his name had been out of curiosity and of course I will change it. Now from everything I have read, Pleo rb has Voice recognition so when he learns his name, he only responds to not the name, but the tone, etc of the person who taught him his name, correct?
Ok, this guy came with EVERYTHING, including ALL the LEARNING STONES, and I was told he knew all the tricks. I had many conversations about this Pleo, his fave foods, basic personality, never injured, etc, etc.This Pleo Rb was never registered thouogh, and I was able to do that, Now, that is the background, here are my questions.
This pleo is supposed to be Low Intelligence according to Stats RB but he learned all his tricks perhaps they just took longer. Also he is supposed to be bad tempered, but even though it has only been 3 days of having him, I have not had any problems , Yet! here is what I want to know.
1. I have to teach him his new name all over again, so will it be just as easy as it was before when he learned, or can he be "stubborn" and not want to because he already has a name?
I am guessing not...
2. Since he is getting a new name, does that mean I have to teach him ALL the tricks again and in same order he learned before or any order is not important? Do Pleos sometimes for example sing the songs they previously learned all on their own? I am just wondering if he will learn quicker or not . It took me a long time to teach Baby Ruth her name compared to Cammie Sue who seems to be a quicker learner, even though they both have high intelligence.
Right now I am not pushing to teach him a new name or anything as we are just getting acquainted and I haven't decided on a name yet anyway. It is interesting to see how he relates to my girl RB and I need to do Stats RB again on my girls as I would like to see where in Adult hood he is compared to my girls. I don't play with my girls as much as many people would compared to how long I have had them, so there is a good possibility they are pretty close in develpment age. Oh, does a Pleo Rb get "points" in intelligence for learning more tricks, I mean they remember things , so even though this guy has low intelligence do the things he has learned give him any advantage over a Pleo Rb who has high or average intelligence but has not learned all the learning stones? I mean I read they are supposed to remember things so I was wondering how the learning stones help with their memory and if a Pleo can increase it's intelligence or courage or active level by things you do with it.?

I would love to hear from anyone else who has "adopted" out a used Pleo RB and what happened with retraining the learning stones and was it hard, easy or what was your experiences like.
