if i download the chinees and the italian files i get an urf.text file.. ad it opens to a text file aswell and when i save it then it saves as chineseny.urf.text

is that correct?

you need to remove the .text extension. They should end with a .urf

and if i just remove the .text extension the file will work?
I'm just asking cause its diffrent by the ugobe personalities.. when i open that link my pc just starts downloading.
When i open the china links, it just opens a text file and i can only save it with save as..

The R.2.D.2 does not work, when you unzip it there are a few files, i tried the urf file but Pleo did nothing ? Anyone got this one to work ?

I think any of the skits will work in the Pleo RB, I asked this same question because I was having problems with Cammie Sue the Pleo I won on Facebook, same time you won your RB. I tried the Chinese song, but have not tried the personalities, but I think a skit is a skit. Try any of the skits listed here on this site and then go from there. Good luck. RWM

I can't open the Pleosaurus Rex file!

it is labeled as a .urf file. How can I open it?

Urf files can be opened, just like any other file, Just click on the file, the computer will ask if you want it saved or open, save it to your computer first, ( which ever drive you want) Then after saving, open the file, and pick the drive you want to send it to. For example, I save to my main drive, C, then I decide to send them to my F drive, and when they go there, I will put a SD card in that drive, and then click on EXTRACT all files, The files will be extracted or sent to that drive, and then after they are sent to that drive, ( where the SD card is, the one I will put in Pleo...make sure it is a MICRO SD card) then I will remove the card, after making sure to click on eject the card, it will say it is now safe to remove your card.

Just read the instructions on any of the skits and they should be easy to follow. RWM

Is there a certain program I need to extract it with? I tried 7-zip and it didn't work.

I have a micro SD card and an external reader/writer.

Hi, let me see how I got myne and I will recheck with you, Give me a little bit as my bones really hurt today, I have arthritic painful knees, a bad back, and a foot I have surgery for on next Tuesday. Ok Wesley, I will redo it simpler, go to the Pleosaurus.urf file. click under or on it. Then it will say do you want to open or save it. Click SAVE. Then it will download and tell you it is done. Then click on Open FOLDER.
after the folder is opened. Right Click to SEND to COMPRESSED ZIPPED FOLDER. Next ,go to that file and Right Click on the Compressed Pleosaurus.urf file. Right click on it again and open it. Then when you see it again, click on Extract all files at the top of the screen towards the left side. Then you will get a new screen that will say, select destination. C is usually the basic file on your computer. Choose another drive where you are going to put your Micro SD card, such as the card reader if you have one. ON my computer it is the F drive. After you have done that. go to My computer. Click on the drive you sent the file, extracted files, (Pleosaurus.urf file. When you click on that drive, it should show you the pleosuarus.urf file. (Make sure before you extracted files and sent them to the drive you have the MIcro Sd card in the drive. )

Next click on that drive that has the file and click from the drop down menu, EJECT file, this will make it safe to take the file out. Make sure your SD card is formatted with nothing on it, You can use it over and over, erase and use a new file if you want. After the computer tells you it is safe to eject the file, you remove the sd card and put it in your Pleo. It should work, I have one at home but have only used it on my Ugobes. Give it a try and tell me if you could copy the files this time, I tried to make it easier. good luck. RWM
