I have a co-worker of mine who absolutely adores Sophie. She was asking me where is the *best* place to buy Pleo in the U.S. Heck, it's been ages since i've bought a pleo, so i have no clue. Besides sharper image is out of business. I'd like to have a place to get a Pleo with an extended warranty that's not too expensive for her. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

The only place I know of is Hammacher Schlemmer. Don't ask me to pronounce this. But If they are still selling pleos, originally, they had a life time warrenty.

On the actual BobThePleo.com site, I have a link to Amazon.com (that earns me a couple of bucks in commission

). They still have pleos in stock, and they are pretty good at taking returns. But not sure where you'd get an extended warranty.

The place I always used to say is Hammacher Schlemmer ( http://www.hammacher.com ) because of their lifetime guarantee. Amazon will be $100 cheaper. But you can't beat a lifetime warranty . . .

That's true. I think both are great ideas, either a cheaper pleo (which helps my favorite website) or the extended warranty. I should talk with her, and see what she'd prefer.
