I hope you have it sorted now Thanks to Crewella's diligence in opening up more than one Pleo :O So sorry about the mix up. Were you able to get the 0.8 to crossover? I couldn't get it too and dropped back to 0.6 cable.

The plot thickens ........

The more I learn about position sensors/pots the more I realise that I came to the right conclusions for the wrong reasons.  The 180 degree turn does not seen to affect the top/bottom cable orientation, though it can help the orientation of the sensor. 

I just felt I should add that as I fumble my way through the darkness!
