This is a feature that I don't think was ever finished. When your PleoRB gets to 1 year of age (as determined by its real time clock), it will take a snapshot of its personality (in "pm_cloning_props" and "pm_cloning_backup"). So far it is not used in the personality. It may be added in the future.

You can do that now. The main file "pm_props.bak" saved on the SD card after running statsRB/ProbeRB or ChangeRB contains the essence of your PleoRB's personality. It can be copied into another PleoRB to quickly clone the personality to another robot.
It also avoids the annoying newborn/baby stages.
Email me if interested.

If you check
the table on that page, the first few evolution times are 'active hours' where you have to be actively using your Pleo.
For later stages of evolution, it is real time (1 day = 1 real day), so even if your PleoRB is powered off and the main battery removed, it is aging. That uses the real-time-clock inside the PleoRB. That's also why the feed level goes down to 9% if you don't use PleoRB every day, since PleoRB remembers how long it has been since you last played with it.
The evolution rules are different for the old model Pleos (who don't have a real-time-clock)
