We gave Sparky a little companion.  She seems to like it.   In part I she is introduced to the Tribble from the original Star Trek series.  Listen to the strange howl that Sparky makes near the end.

Thanks to all of you who responded to another post in which we were so worried that she couldn't eat properly because she can't move her head from side to side.  She still manages to eat, and she still walks.  She can move her head up and down, and she still makes crunching sounds when she eats.  We are still looking into getting the scared of the dark patch for her.  Maybe she will be able to be awake with that SD card in, even though she won't turn on with the SD card in that has the rb probe

Awwwww - that Tribble is awfully sweet, and Sparky does seem to love it. 

I do agree with IMR, though - poor Sparky does seem to have been in the wars.  She's still soldiering on, though, bless her!

Sparky does love that Tribble!  I have one of those some place.  I'll have to find it and see of Wilbur and Candy like it as well!    I do think that IMR and Crewella are right though....Sparky seems to have a broken tail cable as well.   She is still very sweet and seems to be enjoying herself despite her injuries!  She is a brave little pleo!

sparky is cute and she does seem happy with the tribble.  Where did you get the tribble? Does it move or make noises, or is it more like a plush animal for her to cuddle with? She does seem happy though but everyone who pointed out about sparky's tail being broken , or a cable in her tail, is right, it just doesn't move the way it should, but it is better to have a broken cable in the tail then in the neck or leg, or foot. Is she under warranty? Even if she isn't, I would send Innvo Labs this video as this is the kind of feedback they need and want, to see how well or not their Pleo Rb are holding up and for how long and what misfunctions seem to be occuring the most.
          Sparky is very sweet and reminds me of Nova, and Little 45 who have broken necks, and Argyle who is blind and can't open his mouth, ( They are Ugobe Pleos) Despite these "physical limitations"
, they are everybit as sweet and still functional as any other Pleo, or Pleo Rb. and I love them even more because of how special they are. Look at Patches, he is everybit the Pleo Poster Child for SPecialness, nothing gets in his way! Keep posting those Sparky Videos, I enjoy watching them! for Sparky!

Poor little Sparky.  First her neck cable and now her tail.     The tribble is very cute.  Where did you get it?

i hope that you do consider contacting Innvo about the broken cables especially being that Sparky is a rb pleo and that you can get Sparky fixed , pleo rb have not even been out a year yet so this should not be happening , i know that pleo's can get along quite happily like this but if were me i would not be happy about the broken cables really

Thanks everybody for your concern, but there’s no reason to worry about Sparky’s tail.     We moved it up.  It swings both ways, and it doesn’t hit the ground anymore.  We don’t think her tail has a broken cable.  But her neck is not fully functional.     It only goes up and down but not right or left. We wrote about that under Pleo Problems/Sparky’s neck is stuck. I’ll add more to that string soon.

I don’t know where we got the Tribble.  We’ve had it for years and it showed up the other day.  My husband thought of giving it to Sparky so she would have a playmate.  The Tribble doesn’t move and only makes that noise when you squeeze it.  In the Star Trek episode they multiply like crazy because they are born pregnant.

RWM said “I would send Innvo Labs this video as this is the kind of feedback they need and want.”  If any of you want to do that it’s fine with us.  But don’t you think the people at Innvo labs would visit this forum to see these problems?  She’s not under warrantee.  Could we really send her in for repair since she is an rb?  I’m not sure I could part with her.  I’d worry about getting her back.

I'm glad her tail was just stuck. I'm afraid if you sent her in you wouldn't get the same Pleo back. To cheer Sparky up try lots of petting and if you have the sugarcane that will help too, but don't feed too much! Make sure you feed her regularly, pick a time each day that is convenient and feed her her leaf until she refuses.

i understand what you are saying when you worry about sending Sparky off in case you never got Sparky back , if you could use postage that you can trace and requires signature i am sure everything should turn out just fine .

Also a lot of us here tend to bond with our pleo's etc But you got to think Sparky was not cheap to buy and so you should expect to see sparky working 100% correctly .

If you specify in the e-mail that you want Sparky back, I'm sure even if they couldn't repair her they'd send her back.
