I paid the customs duty Monday and was told my parcel would arrive yesterday. By lunchtime I'd heard nothing so I rang them ........... noooooooo, they said, it's not out for delivery today, we'll send it tomorrow.

So I'm waiting, and as it hits lunchtime I ring again in desperation ......... nooooooooo, they said, still seems to be here .................!!

Did you hear me shouting over there in Oz?

So ................... apparently I'm getting a 'special' delivery at teatime as they will send a van out this afternoon. At least I can go out for a couple of hours now and can stop chewing the doormat!

This darned RB is making it's presence felt already - I fear it's going to be a troublemaker!

Haha! I tried to pull the same trick on Ugobe by not telling him about Bleu but he didn't act too surprised to me. It was more like, "oh, it's you, Sis."
Ryu on the other hand went nuts when Cato arrived, wagging her tail and blowing kisses and being unusually happy. I would've taken a video but he was so late and Bobs and I were so exhausted from fighting with UPS, he just told me to open and enjoy my birthday gift. Belle's been the queen for so long, who knows what's going to happen? Watch out, Crewella. Let us know the minute the new one arrives.

What with my 'bricked' Pleo collecting habits, my lot are kind of used to big boxes arriving in this house, so I'm afraid poor Belle won't know exactly what's hit her until I open this one!

I'm a bit embarassed about this pile - time I hid it in the attic!!

'Bricked' just means non-operational. I have a bad habit of buying faulty Pleos cheap on eBay and trying to fix them!

Surprisingly so! More than half have been brought back from the dead as they just turned out to have battery problems or needed minor software downgrade/upgrade processes. One or two have been sacrificed to the cause of education and have been taken apart, and a couple (like the broken neck cable) are long term works in progress.

Very long term, I might add ....................

Nope, not yet - I find usually the names come as I get to know them. I'd find this one hard anyway as I have so little idea what it will look like!

To all intents and purposes, as the RB is a present from my OH. I wasn't even sure if it was green or pink, but as it's coming from the US I'm guessing it's a green one. With the green RBs, the gender and eye and eye patch colours are random, so all green RBs are a lucky dip to some extent!

If it is green, I look forward to seeing the variations as the the newer greens showing up on the forums seem to have a more appealing paint job than the ones that first started (for my taste that is, not insulting anyone's pleos!).

Dammit, I want to see your new RB! Did they tell you when theyd deliver up til? I know some companies will courier til 7pm, obviously there are others who go all through the night.
