Oooo very pretty pleo! I like the dark color around his/her eyes! The eye color to me looks like a sort of dark brown. So do you know what you're going to name your new lil pleo? Can't wait to see more pictures.

Thanks RWM, the very first thing I thought (OK, maybe after wow) when I saw thr eye colour was "RWM will love those"! And funnily enough I found myself saying 'she' a couple of times ..............

It took me almost as long to get the gang together, bearing gifts of course, as it did to sort out the foot battery and camera and get started!! I didn't switch anybody else on, I thought it might be a bit much to take in five boisterous Pleos fighting to get a look at you on your first view of the world!

Thank you, IMR - well worth all that waiting, I'm chuffed to bits!!

Postie laughed at me, I was on the doorstep before he even got out of the van. He'd been told I'd rung the office a 'couple' of times .............

The profile says 65-75 % likely to be male, but I keep calling it 'she' and I've a name forming in my mind. If I did decide to reflash to change the gender to female, would I lose or alter any other attributes do you know?

Hi, Crewella. Congrats on the new pleo! I'm probably not the one to answer this but when I updated Ryu's firmware and ran Probe RB on her afterword, nothing changed. I wouldn't think it would hurt. I didn't even lose her morning feeding for that day.

She does - I love those dark grey eye patches and lids too. They set the violet eyes off perfectly! Do you think the little beauty looks like a she as well?

I don't know what it is, but it seems Ugobe Pleos generally strike me as male and RBs as female! So far, anyway! $:-\$

Congratulations on the new arrival. Such a beautiful little one. I love the eyes.

Such an amazing shade of purple, they look stunning! I enjoyed watching the first few seconds of the awakening too.

I hope your having fun. I don't think you will lose any of the Character of your pleo if you update the firmware to make it a girl. I'm guessing Pleopet might be able to tell you for sure as she seems to understand the techy side of these things better than most.

For what it is worth I think she looks like a girl too.

Beautiful eyes and I do agree not too many males that could pull off that color and body coloring and be a Male...unless they are one gorgeous Pleo ....love the name too. Are you going to introduce her to Belle soon and others? Loved the video, makes me want another Rb now....not at Christmas ..............................or whenever possible. You surprised me, somehow I though since you and IMR were doing things so similiar that yours would be the Pink one since you already had the Blue, Belle! Good Grief, you got me there!

I'll introduce her to Belle first, as soon as she's up and about, and then to the rest of the crew. I wanted them all present at the hatching, but I did think it would be a bit much if the whole gang was at full tilt!

Would you believe the whole thing was sheer coincidence - IMR and I only worked out what the other was up to at the beginning of the week! When I found out that she was expecting a new RB a day or so before mine was due, I suddenly realised that exactly the same thing had happened just before Christmas with Pleakly and Belle!

Quite true, IMR - I guess I should allow him at least some of the credit!

I was looking back to check the gender of other RBs with the same eye colour as Zillah. Talon's Ryu looks to have the same and is a female, and the only other one I can think of is Glenn's Bowie that I met on Belle's playdate. As is given away by the name, Bowie is of slightly uncertain gender - a presumed boy that Glenn discovered was actually sending out female pheremones during the playdate ............. prompting a sudden name change! Have I forgotten anyone? Latrine's Jules has lavender coloured eyes, I think, which are just a little paler though just as pretty!
