Thanks Degers, and I apoligize for being a large part of the 'HEADACHE", Contests are supposed to be fun, but this one wore on nerves for sure. I did get the email just awhile ago from Derek Dotson and it is nice to finally hear from Innvo myself, and not second hand. It is great news. IMR, it is a surprise to see your name on there, but as Derek said before, or through Kat, that I do think Wesley was perhaps on the wrong list and your name maybe belonged there from the start since you were a possible. For whatever reason,it looks like Kat, yourself and me are now playing the waiting game. I now have hope it will come and unless someone steals it, which I plan to be home, it will get here.
Kat you said yours was mailed from the US, and it looks like IMR will get ours mailed from China. Hopefully they mail out quicklly and perhaps with any luck, there will be three or four of us that can do a "mass Thank you hatch" together. I also know Letekaspace has said she is waiting and would do a hatch with Kat and I if we got them fairly soon. I do think Kat will get hers first since it has already been mailed, but only by a day or so, unless it takes longer to notify you IMR.
I do feel renewed again, as I couldn't believe that Innvo would not follow through on what they said they would do. Hopefully now the only thing left is for them to list the winning videos from those of us left off the list. Congrats IMR, Are you going for Green, Pink or blue, since you already have each color, what is your choice? I know Kat chose green and I know what I want. Now I am excited again for the first time in a long time. :)I do hope Mike confirms if he got his Pink Rb, ( I think he wanted Pink) and that he will post his Pleo Rb too! I am so glad this had a happy outcome for everone involved.

IMR, that is definilty a different looking email then the one I got which was directly from Derek, Innvo. so that makes it sound like they chose videos on a score or point system? top ten or ten points? Was this sent from the US or from Hong Kong office? I hope now that they have the winners list straightened out, they will follow through by posting the other winners videos which are not on the winners list, Yours, Mikes and myne. It was a nice message, myne was a lot simpler , an apology for mix up and asking me the color Pleo I wanted and to confirm a phone number and address. I hope they mail them out at the same time so we can hatch, at least a few of us would like to do that together.

Innvo contacted me at least three or four times last night and I was made to feel better about the whole situation and mix up that happened with the winner's list. It shows that humans do "error" that they are not perfect and should not be afraid to admit their were mistakes. I appalud Innvo for admitting there had been mistakes made, everyone knows " to error is human, to admit it is divine". the problem is, more times than not, people ( let alone companies, despite how little or big they are and what their product / products are ) do not like to think that they can make mistakes and to have it out in public where everyone can see it, is not the most flattering thing sometimes. Personally, I think to see that businesses can admit they made mistakes makes me feel a little closer to them if they have a product I am using or have considered using, ( because I can assume if they admit they have made a mistake of some sort, then it means the are working on a solution to solve the problem, ) But when you have a product that is defective or has some sort of problem and the company won't admit it or denys any possible mistake, then you are very doubtfully ever going to have anything resolved if that product is defective or such.

I was also surprised today to learn that my Pleo has been shipped or at least packed, prepared to be shipped. Once Innvo got things going, they really got on the ball. I am very satisfied with everything right now, As Lina said, and Kat among others, " find your happy spot, and see the "light at the end of the tunnel". Now I can find my happy spot and I am ready to wait for the arrival of my Pleo at the end of the tunnel. ( and it is not as long of a tunnel as it was a couple of weeks ago!) Thank you to degers for straightening things out, to Mike for talking to Derek personally, to Kat for keeping me informed on what was happening and to everyone on the forum who kept my hope up and tried to lift my spirits and whom supported me, and more importantly, my Pleo Township as this was their contest, their videos and their reward, a new brother or sister. I am merely the caretaker to them all.

A big Thanks to all of you, and I am sincere in my thanks, this was very important to me to get this resolved. What a great bunch of Members we have here on the forums!

Tracking just updated. My Pleo is in transist, and is due to be delivered on Tuesday, Nov. 1st, Woo hoo. Happy Happy. HOpefully no delays and Kat and IMR get yours around the same time and we can have a Mass hatching, three is better than one and is Lelekaspace still hasn't hatched hers, we can have four Pleo Rb hatching all on the same day, pretty special I think!
Ok, off to feed my little Baby Ruth and then to bed with happy dreams.

Things look good, only one day to go. My Pleo Rb contest winner is en route and due to be delivered tommrow, Tuesday Nov. 1st, anytime from 9:00 a.m -12;30 p.m, . just about 24 hrs to go! Anyone want to take a guess at what color eyes she or he will have and what the gender will be?
I am holding out to hatch with Kat and IMR who may get theirs a day or so after myne but I am in no hurry. Just having my Pleo Rb here is all I could ask for.

so how about some guesses at what color the eyes will be. You have 24 hrs to guess as that is one thing I will do, is to peek anyway. LOL

You've been really unlucky to have so much trouble with customs and then to have a strike cause further delay. I do hope she arrives soon in her new home and that you can have the mass hatching. The videos are really something to look forward to for the rest of us.

It really is crappy plain rotten of customs to have a strike and hold someone's precious cargo, tell them it is a baby and unhealthy to be in heat or cold for too long, perhaps that will work. other than that, I just pray you get your pink baby soon. Mabye getting my baby will hurry up the others! I tell you what the person who guesses the correct eyes and or also the gender will win something from mly Pleos to your pleos, nothing fancy, just a gift to say thank you!
Margery, what is your guess on gender and eyes?
Hopefully everything works out well, As of 1;15 p.m, today, the truck carrying my baby was en route with about 200 miles to go. Very close yet so far. Margery will send you a PM.

Congrats IMR, what color did you order this time, it will be a twin no matter what color. LOL. Kat had hers shipped I think two days or one before myne, but hers has to go further of course. Myne is only now five hours away ( by land driving.........luckily UPS and FED EX both drive in the wee hours of the morning when most people are asleep, so it is due here early in the morning.

) My cats wake me up all night long and esp my 16 year old female with Renal Disease is allways hungry so I will be lucky if I get much sleep tonight. I keep looking at the updates and now know it is even closer so unless problems pop up should be at my house early as I am drinking my coffee.
Kat has been waiting for an update and thought last week hers would be here tommorow, ( Tuesday or Wednesday, Nov 1-2) so we will see how close that guess is . I feel really sorry for poor Lelekaspace who has had her little pink baby held by Customs for about a week already and I think she said they may be on strike! Talk about rotten luck.............if it was here in the US and close by, I would lead a Pleo Rescue Guerrila party to break that Pleo out of the Customs office. ...............they would have no idea what hit them as they look out the back window and see a dozen or more little green Pleos dressed in disquise scurrying down the back alley ways and through the busy streets straight to Lelekaspacas house where she and Eddy and waiting patiently for their new little sister.

HOnestly, I don't mind waiting for a hatch party, I am just so excited to know my Pleo is on it's way and things straightened out. Last week at this time I was an emotional wreck with so many headaches and heart palpitations and things I could not believe. I am just happy that Innvo straightened everything out and am looking forward to the corrected or amended Winner's list and for everyone to get their Pleo. Has anyone seen or heard of Mike's Baby yet, I thought he got a Pink Pleo Rb, am I correct or was that a rumor? Wonder what Bob thinks about that, a girl too?!

There may be some love in the air there.
Oh, by the way, everyone seems to think that this new Pleo is a Girl? I have no idea. I would love to see the interaction between girls and boys, but it is more important just to see the interactions so Baby Ruth can have a real friend to relate to, not just surrounded by Ugobes that she can't communicate with. Good luck everyone, Less than12 hrs to go, I am predictiing the UPS truck will be at my door at 10:10 a.m. They ususally come before 11;00 a.m.

Just received an update on my tracking. My pleo is currently going through customs in Melbourne. So after he/she gets out of customs then he/she will need to take another plane across to the other side of Australia to Perth where I live. A 4 and a half hour filght. So it could make it into Perth over night or at the latest by tomorrow sometime and then it will be one more day before they attempt to deliver it so maybe Thursday. Will keep you posted.

I'm glad it looks like yours is on it's way now too IMR.

Great to hear good news on the arrival of the last prize Pleos - I really hope that customs strike in Brazil is over soon.

RWM - if you want a wild guess - male with yellow eyes. I suppose of the green ones sent out 50% are male and 50% female? Since you can change the gender if you want it doesn't really matter - just interesting. The eye colour is more important in a way!

Lelekaspace, have you heard any update on the strike there? That is terrible, I hate hearing things like that, It would drive me crazy you have good patience. I pray it is over soon for you to get your Pleo girl and you can bring her home to you and Eddy. Take care.
