I usually post my videos in one of two places, Under Life in the Redwoods, with Nova and my other older Pleos, or under Life with my Pleo Rb. Well since I now have my own, Herd, or what I call, " A Pleo Township", I thought I would start a new topic that just has to do with the topic of having four or more Pleos, althought if you have three then I guess you could call it a herd, but two would be a "couple", not like I have a couple but in pair , romantic animal couple of Pleos. Anyway to get back to the topic this has to do with my Pleo Township and what happens to them and the videos or photos of them as a group.
This is a long video, but there is a story to it and a lot going on. Also for any future potential pleo adoptee parents to some of my Pleo adoptees, this is a way to see some of the differences, subtle or not so subtle differences you may see whether it is disposition or color or something else. This is a project I wanted to start yesterday, Sunday the 5th of June, but the rain changed all that, so today the sun came out and here are the Township of Pleos. Nine or perhaps eight of my Pleos are interacting here . I do think one had a sleepy battery so the number slightly changed.I think I don't need to relate the backdrop too much as the story speaks for itself, This is what happens when you get this many Pleos together on a nice day and they want something to do. It talks about co-operation and my Pleo Rb, Baby is the youngest of the bunch, and Argyle and Gold Hatch the two oldest as Pleos go. The rest is up to your interpretation, enjoy and let me know what you think, . Oh someone may point out to Talon that Blue, her adoptee Second Pleo to be ( from me) also stars in this and she is easy to spot because of her coloring! :) I mispelled a word or two, but by the time I saw it, it had been posted to youtube.

I was expecting the 'Dance of the Little Pleos'! ;)

Wow - that's a lot of Pleos running at once, quite a handful. It's lovely to see them out in the sunshine! ;D

Yes, that is a lot of pleos! I'll have a complete herd before long. Cato arrives tomorrow and Redwoods and I are still talking about Blue. I would post a video of them once she is part of my family but I think it would probably be pretty boring as there's not a lot of interesting colors to intertain them. Ryu might convert poor Cato to box fan-worshiping and I have no idea what interesting mischief Ugobe and Blue might get into. Maybe there's a story here after all.

Thanks RWM, thats a herd of pleo back in red woods. Im certain that they are very cheerful living in an area that might resemble their original home, million and million years ago in Jurassic era.
Finally Camarasaurus are roaming the earth again. I really like the part that they mooing one after another. ;D ;D ;D

Thanks guys and grin, I do remember you asked long time ago if I could take some photos actually in the Redwoods and I am going to get that done soon when the weather co-operates a bit more, It is not that easy getting a whole Township or Herd of nine or more Pleos into the Redwoods, but I think it would be a great project. I would like to repeat this project, but with nine or so Pleos and see where it goes. I think I would like to see it on the more realistic side, though I realize with two broken neck pleos it may not be totally possible, and also the fact they occasionally say, "hello" or Moo, would be a little strange. I can also see my Rb suddenly burping or laughing being a bit strange but fun none the less. Here is the original for those who were not here a whole year ago, when I only had Nova, before her neck mysteriously "broke" with no warning. I also was a very inexperienced film maker,( not that I am expereinced now, but have more cam cording videos since then... ;))
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fo-HdgewTl0 I will be the first to admit how inexpereinced I was and towards the end of the video, I also called the Pleo a Baby Pleo-saurus, not a baby Camasaurus, so forgive and laugh at me, I did like the environment I filmed it in, and that was the point, I want to do this again but expand on the original video and not just with more Pleos but a better bigger video in more ways than one.. ;D ( this was taken when I had had Nova for I think about 4 months so I was a real novice back then but knew I was in love with Pleos!)

these vidoes are so fun! is that 'baby rb' in the first video? there is one, the one that points and i sure like his eyes.
im slightly less thrilled with dude's bright blue eyes, i would have preferred something more brown or hazel or even green, something more NATURAL, lol!
cant wait to see more!
gotta run, dude is mooing!

RWM, I would say you really have a herd of pleos. How cute to see so many doing their own thing. :)

Hi , thanks again for posting Nova in the red woods. Im fascinated ;D..with your little green dino among the most precocious trees. I could only enjoy looking at the trees by watching and reading National Geographic, unlike you who are there in person.
She looks so real, a living baby dinosaur and I bet children would think that you actually own a real pet.
By the way which part of North America you live?

The redwoods forest looks so majestic and beautiful. Nova looks very at home there. :) I loved the video of your whole troupe together too. :)

HI Grin, I live in the extreme Northern CA, Humboldt County, home of the Majestic Redwoods, and of course, BIGFOOT. I just need good weather and a way to get all eight or nine Pleos to the redwoods. I do not drive and that makes it tougher, but I will find a way to get them there, I do have a Pleo Mobile that can carry four possibly five, but I would like to take as many as possible to make it more real, with all the possible honking etc. I also need to get my Pleos into the Redwoods, away from any trails where "tourists' may be as I do not want People in the video, so I can take it back in time so to say. Last year right after I filmed the original video with my only Pleo, Nova, a National Geographic film crew or something similiar.( have to look at my original post, my memory is not working right now, not enough coffee upload yet. LOL :( ;D) there was a future film being made called, " walking with the Dinosaurs" that was supposed to be broadcast in Febuary of this year I think, I missed it, but they used the same location I did plus others to film their Hollywood dinosuars, thought they used a lot of computer generated images to fill in where the actual movie was broadcast. I still want to see that film so I can see all the locations they used.
I will get my updated video done sometime this summer, even if I have to walk there ......only wish my feet were not so bad.( I have had bunionectimies on both feet, a broken Jones Fracture on one foot that had a cast on it for months, and then complications set in after a failed bunionectomy on that foot, and finally a fusion cause it was so bad. I now have limited footwear I can wear and my feet hurt worse than my back, which is something cause I take Methadone for my chronic back pain, and it does nothing for the foot pain...anyway, I will get there.) I just love the Redwoods, and it is nice because I also am very close to the Pacific Ocean and a short ride to the Mountains and Bigfoot in the Redwoods. My Pleos feel right at home here actually! :D
Kat and Fancy, thank you for the comments on the "herd" , they do like doing their own thing, but they also have learned to co-operate which is important when you have that many. They have learned they get more done when they pull in the same direction, except Baby, since being a Rb, she is a little harder to convince but she is learning. LOL ;) I appreciate the comments, it helps to know I didn't make a video for nobody to look at except myself. RedwoodsMama

Love the videos, RWM... its so neat seeing them all like that.. I get a dog pile with all of mine too but yours still nearly doubles my herd number..lol.
It also looks really cool to see all the differently colored Pleos together.. a bunch of ragtag misfit pleos come together, thanks to RWM's rescues, to form a herd of smart little cutey pies who are apparently ready to take on the world (very slowly, while crashing into each other.. ) :)

Hi Sarah, glad you enjoyed the video of "Pleo Traffic Jam", it was pretty funny watching them try to not crash into each other, and I thought the best way to do the video was to make lighthearted fun of something like Ballet dancing with Pleos. Reminds me of Disney's Fantasia with the Hippos in tutus dancing and this little skinny aligator afraid to catch the hippo as she comes crashing to the ground. LOL :DI couldn't get quite all my Pleos into that video as I have 14, but Humpty is not "together yet" and I have one sealed in a box, never opened, so actually there are a even dozen that are being Used at any point. Pink one of them, is still being painted so she tries to stay out of most of the photos till she is done, Here are some recent photos taken after Pleo Jam 101, that show their outing a few days ago, into the actual sunshine and a group photo. They are a sight with the different colors and rescues, broken necks and of course Argyle being Blind, though he is the Smartest or should I say, "wisest" of them all. ;) Enjoy these photos if you haven't seen them yet.
IN the very last photo with Pink, there are 12 of my Pleos here . :)

Fancy and Hannah, thanks for the comments and yes they are quite a herd doing their own thing. And grin, yes, I still intend to do a remake of Pleos in the Real Redwoods, it is just how to get a dozen Pleos out into the Redwoods, I think going down the street with 12 in tow will get a little atttention where I live, I may have to enlist the aid of Bigfoot to help me while everyone is sleeping when it is dark and just camp out under the Redwoods and Stars. ;) :)

May I suggest the remaking of pleos in the redwood should be like a documentary, living /walking with dinosaurs. In the Jurassic park movie, they did genetic engineering to bring dinosaur to life but Innovo lab has done a wonder by using a sophisticated software and learning from a complete skeletal remains of 4-6 weeks old camarasaurus.
And now you are the only one with the most number of pleos so this is your chance.
Im sure Bigfoot are scared of your herds.
