grumpy:
But how may people here had to google "wombat" to find out what they were?

gucci_boi7782:
OMG!! That is sooooooooooooo true! Hehe when I heard wombat, I had no idea what that was. Well I heard of it, but little did I know it would be this cute and cuddly little fuzzball from Australia.

Lol we don't have tigers on our cereal :P We have Toucan Sam, Snap Crackle and Pop, King Wheeties and Din-O-saurs. lol Actually some of those are probably American cereals too :)

But it is the same as me trying to explain what a jaffle is, or why Vegemite is the best sandwich spread ever ;)

(A jaffle is a cast iron implement that hold two slices of bread and a filling and presses them together to form a tasty pocket, it is then placed in hot coals to toast, taken out and eaten :) Nowadays though you can get fancy electric ones :P but they taste better cooked on the fire :))

WOW!!! The world is SOOOOOOOOOO much bigger than Brooksville, FL.! That's so cool. I truly love learning about the different faces of the globe, it is so fascinating. We have toucan sam, snack crackle and pop. The others, IDK. I love fruity pebbles, and lucky charms. Lucky Charms has the leprechaun. Hehe, remembering a Aussie friend I met (AKA interrogated--I asked her every single question I could fathom about Australia) she told me about this 'vegemite'. -tilts head to the side, showing confusion- I don't remember what it was but the name is familiar. Is that veggie cream cheese (neufchatel cheese)? Isn't that so wild how things can be so different all over the world? That always fascinates me.

Vegemite is a thick black gunky spread made from yeast and is the worlds richest known source of vitamin B :) Its really yum, but Americans just don't seem to have a taste for it :P Interestingly though Americans now make it after buying out Kraft, which used to be an Aussie company. A health group recently tried to ban it from Australia because it has a high salt content, needless to say the campaign went really really badly lol.

We don't have Leprechaun cereal, we have Skippy-o's though shaped like little kangaroos :P

I used to live in a place called Brookeville, it had a population of six people :) Me and my dad in one house, my nan and pa just down the road and two other blokes just up the road :) It was so peaceful up there :)
