Well, to me the grass looks like it is actually a green wig. Apart from that I am not so sure right now.

The grass is actually grass... mix of St. Augustine and crabgrass... from somewhere in my yard I believe....

Good one Bob, though I am not familiar with the original comic strips and haven't seen the Bob book except for a few excerpts to me this looks as if Bob is sitting ontop of Another Pleo, poor Pleo that has been stripped of his skin, and the green " grass" blades that we see are actually Bob's skin, peeled away as if he had been under the spell of a Mad Scientist, named " weed",

I think it is all a terrible thing to do to poor Bob , as if this Pleo didn't have enough " self esteem " issues already. :(If you want to claim that this is actually a mix of ST. Augustine and crabgrass from your lawn, you will have to be more clever than that. You are devious now aren't you, trying to pull the wool ( or in this case stripped skin) over some Pleo's eyes.

On the other hand, Bob does look almost like he is driving or hanging upside down as degers suggested, but I think you have more power over your Pleo subjects than I would like to admit, Power hungry you are, Bob just needs some kind hearted soul to save him from this sort of ridicule, He needs his own patch of grass like he needs a hole in his head.( although he does have a few I think, and perhaps a few in other places, that could use some patching.

Well, I tryed anyway, it was Nova that made me guess, she has a wild imagination, it is all those crazy clothes she wears and the neck brace has cut off oxygen from her brain a little too long think I.

Yep, I agree with fancyfont, I think the 'back feet' have been added - the pic looks like it could have originally been a regular image of Bob standing, flipped and rotated 90 degrees, with the original back feet redone?

Well, degers got it right. I didn't have a picture of a pleo sitting, and didn't want to take the time to take a picture, but I had a picture of Caleb Chung holding a pleo by its tail. So the pleo is a whole pleo, legs and all, but I cut out Caleb and had to use the grass to hide the fact that the tail is missing (I cropped the tail off where the hand was holding it), otherwise it would be sticking straight into the ground.

In order to get your pleo to sit, the tail would normally be curling up behind it, and there is no way to get the pleo to actually *SIT* on it's butt because of the tail. The "sitting" position has your pleo more or less balancing on the back legs and tail. Notice in the official pleoworld picture, you don't see the back of the pleo.... and how the back is tilted much more forward, with the front feet almost touching the ground.

Wow, I was thinking the same thing, but to be fair with poor Bob, I would think Sally would also be happy that she just does not have to live in a Garbage CAn for one thing, and to have to live in a Garbage CAn and share it with Bob!
