The brown battery is a lithium battery and the green battery is NiMH, so DO NOT try to charge the brown battery in the green charging base, or the green battery in the brown charging base. Really they shouldn't fit due to the tab, but don't even try. Now the a/c adapter (the part that plugs into the wall socket) may work on either one, but the charging cradle (the part you put the battery in) DOES NOT!

The reason I had this strange question is tht I got a 2nd hand classic pleo online at a really good price but it is missing the green cradle and ac adapter, so I'm deciding how I can spend the least money to make it work!

It might not be the cheapest option now, but in the long run you are far, far better off purchasing an egg charger and white battery. They'll cost about $60 but are much more reliable and run longer than the green batteries.

I have actually thought of tht indeed!!
So, just to confirm, is the white egg n white battery compatible with both classic Pleo and Pleo rb? And I can use pleo rb's ac adapter for the egg charger?
I have decided to put the 2nd hand classic pleo aside for now and I will decide what battery to get for him a little bit later since my pleo rb will be home soon... I think I will be too busy with pleo rb and I feel like I will pay much less attention to the classic pleo...

The egg batteries and chargers are only compatible with the Ugobe or clasic pleo not the pleo rb.
