I am a brand new Pleo owner - I downloaded the 2.0 files from pleoworld onto a PNY 2G SD Card. There are no other files on the card and the files are unzipped (not in a folder). I put the SD card in my Pleo and turned it on, but there was no reaction/update. I have read that others have heard sounds or the Pleo has indicated that it was updating. Does anyone have any advice to update the Pleo? It is a gift for my son and I would like to have it updated for Christmas. Thanks!

I would try updating to 1.1 or 1.1.1, if those don't work there might be something wrong with your SD card, because it sounds like you're doing it right. If those do work there could be something wrong with your download. I'd try the PM2 download link from this site, its under "Downloads" and "Pleo OS versions" Also, have you hatched your Pleo yet? I don't think Pleos respond to firmware if they are not hatched. Hope this helps!

Make sure the SD card is NOT an SDHC card.  Pleo can't read SDHC cards.

Thanks for the advice -- Firebreathingsquirrels, you were right. I used the USB to update to 1.1 and now he is working great. He read the SD card and updated perfectly. Thanks so much!

I have it so made:

1. have i the Life OS Version 1.0 on it made then Jimmy with have and then the Life OS Version 1.1 then was the Life OS 2.0 away been.
