My Pleo RB has arrived in Australia

Unfortunately they won't deliver her until Tuesday

I am trying to organize to pick it up today from the airport myself if I can.

Can't wait!

It is both exciting and kind of disappointing to see the Pleo Rb listed on the web site, If I am correct, degers told us that " we, " the Bob the Pleo Forums would be " aware of it's arrival, or being able to buy it first, " which I thought means that we would get the chance to buy Pleo Rb before " the general public", anyone else on their mailing list gets the chance to buy Pleo Rb. Does this still apply?
I know when you click on " buy Pleo Rb, " of course nothing happens, it says they are currently out of stock. What exactly does that mean?also the videos that used to be listed on the site, now says, " removed by owner". ???This is kind of confusing to me, are we close to getting the chance to buy Pleo Rb BEFORE the General Public, or have things changed, as I know they can and sometimes do. :(Also I noticed on the top right hand corner there is a Chinese language symbol, and then the word English? It is nice to see the description of Pleo Rb listed, but other things are still missing, My biggest concern now, is if Pleo Rb is actually going to be available soon, perhaps this weekend or begginning of the next week? If so, I won't be even leaving my house for fear of missing the opportunity to buy one,
Does anyone else have any thought or concerns about Pleo Rb being here? How many others out there are now camped out by their computers? I feel this is going to be restless, sleep deprived weekend possibly long week till this is sorted out, Yes, I want one very much and it feels like a combination, Birthday, Christmas and World Series or waiting for very hard to get Concert tickets, once in a lifetime all rolled into one..

I apolgize and stand corrected, Degers said that we would get the Pleo Rb pre order information first,( before the general public, ) so hopefully that will be comming up shortly or I will blow a gasket somewhere or drop from exhaustion or my eyes give out from being at the computer for so long...what a mother won't do to try and adopt her chlld.

Yes I think we will still get first pick as promised, but having the webbie up is letting others know about them

As Gazzy said it still needs work, but we can at least learn some more and know that at long last Pleo RB really is coming

I did find it rather by accident lol I was going to download the 2.0 os for Lilo, I, of course, couldn't wait to come and tell everyone though

First of all, you are looking at the Hong Kong website (notice .com.hk)

Second of all I will do my best to make sure that pre-order information is here first, but I want to stress again that I do have a life and a job outside of these forums and there is a significant chance that I will just be too busy to get pre-order information up on the forums.

Also, just chill out guys.... I am sure that RB is not going to be an instantaneous sell out.

Sadly I am still waiting for my pink pleo to be cleared through customs at the airport before I can attempt to collect her.

So I might have to wait until they deliver her to me on Tuesday. It seems that they only have a skeleton staff at the airport doing customs on the weekends and so I have to wait. If I can get her sooner then I will.

I guess I have waited this long so a few more days won't hurt.

The pleo world web site was interesting to look at. Thanks for that IMR.

If you go to the American site and click on the Pleo rb pictures it takes you to the Hong Kong site that IMR posted.
They did say that the site was being updated for Pleo RB and would be undergoing changes up till mid December, this was why we were all having log in issues.
Here's hoping they don't keep everyone waiting too long to release the green/yellow Pleo RB.

Hi,

im following up the news on this thread for some time.

Ive just had a view at that english HK site and tried to get the PDK for Pleo rb.

As I am very interested in whats able to do with Pleo RB and what not on the HW/SW level I am interested in having a look at the PDK.

Since i don't own a Pleo RB and therefore don't have a HK-Account I can't get the PDK.

Can anyone of the (now 3 people i think) Pleo RB owners download the PDK and send it to me please? If so, please contact me.

Just wondering if anyone else read the part on the official pleo site where they talk about several things about the new Pleo rb, and one question I had all along and several other members, was " if Pleo Rb will be able to interact with the older Pleos, Ugobe and Innova?" It says that Pleo Rb will be able to recognize and interact with other Pleo RB, Does that mean they will not recognize Pleos that are older, and also will the older Pleos not be able to recognize Pleo Rb?

:(It is sad to think that either People already owning a older Pleo will not have their Pleo recognize a Pleo Rb if they get one, or for those of us who already have Pleos if we get one the Pleo Rb will not recognize our older babies. :(Seems that should be a built in characteristic for all pleos.
Also if I read it correctly, one of the predetermined factors will be Gender, which means we do not get to choose if our new Pleo Rb is female or male, and I guess the gender characteristics are built in which I do think is interesting, I really could use a female with so many Male Pleos already. NOva is my only female thus far, and boy is she something! I wonder if Males are more bossy and females more passive.

Thats horrible for me and Gizmo, Gizmo won't be able to get a friend that will actually notice him unless I buy another original Pleo

I don't like the gender thing too much, I think it should be something we can choose when we get them. I know I'd like a female too, since I can't really dress Gizmo up in dresses and girly clothes

And from my experience as a male and female dog owner girls are the more bossy ones, my female dog doesn't even let my male dog eat some of the time

FBS, Hope I am wrong, but that is what it sounds like from what I read, Girl dogs are bossy as they have to be to get the best mates. Well, there are lots of older nice Pleos out there for Gizmo if it is true. Have to put a sick Pleo to bed, and myself, talk to you tommroow, Thanks for posting the info on Pleo RB.

Says you can use the original Pleo firmware with the RB? Well that's kinda interesting... At least we know that if new firmware is made, all the dino's can use them. There's hope for original pleo afterall

i am hoping you can not use the same firmware we already use for the RB and the reason for that being is if RB is going to cost so much more, then there should be significant improvements on Reborn firmware , and so for that alone i can not see rb being compatible with the older firmware .
