Hi there!
« on: December 29, 2009, 01:17:15 AM »

Hello to you all from New Zealand! My family bought our first Pleo, which we've named Dino, last week. We absolutely love him! He's a great addition to our growing family, we have 4 kids, all 5 years and under, they adore him. The only one problem we have is that because there are no distributors here we ended up buying him second hand and unfortunately the battery only lasts 20 minutes once charged. I've emailed Vicky from Ucube to see if I'm able to buy them and ship them from their website. Fingers crossed!

UPDATE: I Just got an email from Holiday Projectors and they've included New Zealand in there posting list. This now makes it much easier to order my Ucube!

UPDATE: The new egg and battery arrived yesterday and it's really great! We played with Dino for a couple of hours before switching him off and he still has more power left! A great product and thanks again to Holiday Projectors for supplying it!

Welcome Ian and Dino :) At the very least you could order a battery from Innvo, but the ucube ones are much better :)

Hey Ian,

Yes, I totally agree with IMOR. I just bought the UCube battery recently and Pleo lasts for hours! I've bought two of the green batteries before that and both of them have been no good  :(

Ucube--It's the way to go!

Hi Ian and Dino!
Glad you were able to get a Ucube. I've never used them, but from what I hear they're really great :)
We'd love to see some pictures of Dino!
