I've been reading the posts and a little confused.  So Pleo won't learn to come when called?  What about its name?

If Pleo is standing (in social mode) it will move it's head to the side of a loud noise.  If Pleo is walking (in explore mode) then Pleo will stop and turn a few paces towards the side it hears a loud noise.
Pleo cannot recognise any words, only loud noises, so it will not be able to recognise a name.

Even if they don't learn to recognize their names, they sure do seem to! Especially Macon...
I'd love to get one of the new pleos. Be interesting to see how they differed from the 2007 pleos.
